Few things worth mentioning for anyone looking into this: 1. Do not buy things that you cannot legit check/get legit checked, there are a good amount of fakes, you will not be able to get your money back if you buy something fake unless you open a PayPal claim which will get you banned from buying in the future. 2. Some sellers will use other accounts to bid items up to your top bid and then once their other account beats you they will delete the top bid from their seller account so you automatically buy it for the highest amount you bid. Be careful if you're in a bidding war not to go over what your max bid was getting caught in the moment, there's a chance it's the seller baiting you into bidding more using other accounts. Those are the things I wish someone told me before I got scammed $600 for some fake t shirts while drunk bidding against the sellers fake accounts.. lol

You don't really have recourse against buyee if there's a problem, however you can't use most of these sites directly from overseas. Ah, shill bidding. I see you've had experience with ebay. Just do "buy now." You could also try a program which bids at the last moment for you. Likely the shill bidder is doing the same though. That's why the item is pulled sometimes; they accidentally outbid the real buyers.
@MFLOVEify11 ай бұрын
I just had this happen. I was already kinda suspicious with some of the bidsI had, but THIS ONE literally I got outbid and I didn't even really want it like that so I was like meh. woke up and somehow I won lmao Also yea the fake thing gotta be careful but they charge this bs 500 yen fee to check and I kinda doubt THEY even do anything. Some platforms like superbuy will even take free photos for you with measurements, easy return processes as well. Buyee the app is definietly not the best functioning app there is...lots of loopholes to jump through.

Nice video about Buyee, I have been using them for over a decade now for picking up Japanese fashion. A big point you may have missed (Have not watched the earlier video yet) is that Japanese sizes tend to be a bit smaller than western sizes or at least a little shorter if that makes sense. So if you are an XL in the west you may be wanting to grab a 2xl. I also think it might be worth you personally exploring the world of military replica clothing from the likes of buzz rickson and real mccoys (or cheaper options like Houston). Military clothing after all is the original tech wear being highly over engineered for durability. Japan also geeks out about certain aspects of Americana and there are somethings you can get today in Japan that are made in the USA but not sold to the USA market. A good example of this is some of the heritage lines of red wing boots again not exactly modern techwear but very well made utilitarian shoes for sure.

Great video but what was not converted was the sizing difference. When you visit a country like japan or Korea it is very difficult to find clothes for specific body shapes. When I lived in in South Korea a lot of my American friend had to buy most of their clothes online because clothes just were not built for their shape. Is shopping from other countries fashion industries a great way to find niche pieces yes of course but with the difference in how things I would be very careful about spending money.

I love Japanese brands but I hate buying from Japan. If you are of smaller stature, have at it. If you are a little bigger, don't waste your time. You'll spend your entire time trying to find something in your size, not something you like. I'm a L in US sizing but an XXL or XXXL in some of these brands and good luck finding a seller with your taste that also wears that size...
