Hello! I use 3 main sets for pretty much all drawings - Polychromos, Prismacolor and Luminance. The short answer is my favourite and all-round pencils are Polychromos. The longer answer - they all have things that make them good. I made a video about it a while ago here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6fTc3afncStmrs I hope this helps! As far as set size goes, if you can afford it then bigger sets give you more flexibility and makes things a bit easier. Most of the time I go for 60-70 colours if they're available. You can still make great art with less colours, you just need to learn how they mix and blend to make the colours you don't have in the set.
