I really don’t think people are giving DJ Lagway the proper credit he deserves. A true freshman just stood in the pocket the entire game on one leg and beat a Top 25 rival. That LSU game confirmed DJ Lagway is generational. No one has been more negative than me about this team and coach but that game changed everything for me. Give DJ Lagway whatever he wants because he is going to win a national championship for Florida. And could possibly bring us our first undefeated season ever in his Junior year.

The main reason they kept Billy Boy is because they didn't want to lose Lagway. Lagway alone will get recruits to wanna play for Florida, it's that simple.

UF has a great future now that we have updated facilities and landed Lagway. The state of Florida has departed top transfer athletes who may want to move back to FL. Patience with Billy's buyout will be rewarded.

It has a lot more to do with the money they’d have to put out, 26 million and then no NIL money for players. DJ Lagway goes when Napier goes. Do we want to start over? New coach, no QB, missing our recruiting edge, I don’t think so.

UF has our head coach locked in at a lower salary than our competitors for 2 years. Put that money into players. UF beat LSU's higher salaried coach. UF beats UGA's higher salaried coach if Lagway does not pull his hamstring.
