The actress playing Martine is Sonia Petrovna who did indeed play Renata on Search For Tomorrow. I remember Renata was was married to David Sutton and died right after giving birth.

this was the result of Martin Tourneur's drinking - falling asleep with a cigarette lit..i remember David and Renata (Sonja Petrovna) made it to the roof where Renata gave birth, then died from infection.....

yes..Sonja Petrovna played Renata Corelli, revealed to be Travis Sentell Sr.'s daughter (1979)..she married David Sutton (1980), but later died the result of a fire - thanx to Martin Tourneur's (John Aniston - Jennifer's father!) drinking...
