If life was so easy than a planet that was able to host life almost as soon as it was able to (life sprang up very very quickly here on Earth) would likely have more than one genesis.

If life on Mars is most likely from Earth Paul, why dont we seed the planet with oxygen producing microbes and get a habitable planet started? Lets fire up a greenhouse effect to create an atmosphere and warmth, and who knows, in a few generations we'll be skiing down Olympus Mons!

When u talk about belief u sound like a priest, gaz, u should throw out belief when it comes to actual science and observation, take the facts for what they are, still we have more important things to worry about like hungry children & nuclear war
