I have been waiting for the WAR movie arc for as long as WAR has existed. Frungus doesn’t get to be in it because he objects to WAR as a concept, and also his kind (the Australian Frogs) lost the war against the Emus so he cant be trusted to give an unbiased view in WAR. So therefore throughout the full arc Fringy will be locked in a cage and we must remember to feed him only twice a day. If he gets rowdy and starts yelling about Goo, we are to throw him in the sugar mines and let him toil away playing Gollum. Thus has been decreed, and shall be followed by all those herein.

I mean internet historian uses outside memes and images to do his story telling, what mauler did was use a bunch of exciting filler words to make it sound bigger than life. Both have good writing which makes them similar that way but they are way different with style

I remember you guys were saying that the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven was worse than the theatrical one. I think it was on a superchat catch-up from like two years ago When I watched the director's cut, I thought THAT part really did damage to THAT character. I haven't watch the theatrical version, so I could be wrong about which scenes were cut, but I think THAT part was among the omitted.

I would reccomend "Paths of Glory", "Full Metal Jacket" "The Deer Hunter" and "Come and See" as some masterful war movies. But they're not EFAP movies material, I'm glad they picked more "cool and entertaining" war movies that are set earlier in history as opposed to deep thought-provoking anti-war movies Saving Private Ryan is also obligatory but I expect you've already seen it.

I was definitely torn upon realizing the wars were all pre-20th century, but the roster is honestly pretty peak... Fringy makes a good point in that cutaway, though. Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down... I'll throw Laurence of Arabia onto that list, and maybe even Dunkirk- but i really hope we get some sort of creatively-named War 2 Arc... Again though, lots of great films on this list, and I'm sure it'll be hype.
