@@VictorECaplon Well the concept of time doesn't apply here. So you couldn't have been him in the past, but rather you are all of us simultaneously. Whenever your singular consciousness ceases to exist, you are no longer bound by this universe, hence you wouldn't have a timeline to put this in order. If you think about it, we have already lived and died as a separate consciousness, however, we are merely experiencing the current because of our universe. And the thing that binds us together would be the state before and after life when we are no longer bound to a single consciousness within this universe.

This video is one of Kurzgesagt's best, and even describes basically how I've thought consciousness works for more than half my life (since I was 15). To further break down how I think consciousness exists, it's definitely a little meta-physical, but basically the fundamental basis of consciousness is chaotic fluctuations. Chaotic fluctuations that imprint on the structure of our minds at certain points in time, and both order and chaos are fundamental aspects of consciousness, one side fighting for things to be different, the other side marching forever onward for everything to be the same. Chaos is life itself, taking energy from the universe to make more complex structures, fighting against entropy to prolong the time that chaos can exist, because paradoxically if the universe was perfectly chaotic it would also be perfectly uniform and ordered.

The biggest problem with the concept of 'not existing' is infinity. I guess I'm more a 'quantum soul" type person, it's probably impossible for something to totally cease to exist even as something has always existed, maybe outside of what we regard as Time and Space.
@thuggie1
@thuggie1 3 жыл бұрын
time only exists due to space as matter has a place to expand into it then coalesces creating gravity then gravity distorts space which then creates time. if you put all matter and energy in the universe to a single point time ceases to exist, so before the universe was there was just the base field nether infinite or nothing with no time or dimensions of space. the problem is for the big bang to happen their has to be an observation to collapse the wave function so it can happen quantum mechanics dictates. this leads to the possibility consciousness is an innate property not emergent as it would be needed to initiate the big bang.

But that’s the thing, you aren’t stuck in one place forever. There’s literally nothing at all. Like literally NOTHING exists. I can’t explain it to you because the brain doesn’t really like to grasp it, but I hope you can grasp what I’m saying to you when I’m saying LITERALLY NOTHING around you or YOU yourself exists.. so you wouldn’t even know you were stuck because you don’t have a human conscience to think that AND because there’s actually LITERALLY nothing keeping you stuck because you and nothing exists. Stuck, doesn’t exist. Nothing and anything doesn’t exists.

@@LOL-bs1hg I mean if I were to try and describe everything I’d need to write a while Essay, and even then some parts would be so indescribable that there’s be no way to put into words, but I’m sure you wanna be able to visualize just an example to know what it’s like right? Let me try. In random order some of the experienced I had were entering sort of tunnel in the form of a rollercoaster 🎢 with very vividly alternating colorful snake scales, then I entered a sort of void that took me to a room where I saw a kid sobbing rolledup towards the corner, then Mother Ayahuasca told me that was the child inside me and the source of my depression, she then fused me into the sobbing child and I had to relive my childhood both in 1st and 3rd person with Mother Ayahuasca besides my 3rd person explaining every major traumatic event I experienced and how that left a psychic scar that altered my personality and my perception of reality, she took me though it all healing one by one until I was able to forgive those who have harmed me. She also thrust her hand inside my body and pulled out “my soul” and then threw it into a cliff with a fall that was pure darkness, that led me to fall towards planet earth and I heard screams, crying, sobbing, painful sounds and it was the expression of humanity in it’s current state, after that I saw a sort of “prophecy” where humanity reaches the peak of suffering and in that peak a sort of miracle happens and a spark of light is born inside a single human, and that human starts humming a beautiful lullaby, the humming begins to spread in the form of a wave and one by one humans begin to slowly light up and as the number increases the soft hummind begins to shift into actual singing, and it becomes such an unbelievably beautiful melody that Mother Ayahuasca called “The song of Humanity”, humans begin to hold each others hands and vibrate as their glow intensifies until the last human lights up and a sort of worldwide wave of light happens and wipes clean the entire planet, it’s as if humanity jumped into a different place but it was the same place, hard to describe. After that event took place corruption was gone, hatred, resentment, fear, all forms of ill emotions disappear and humanity is left with only compassion, kindness and love. Because of this the previous systems collapse and humans begin to build a new system along with a new culture, a new people. 1 generation later humans adopt cultural customs such as walking by each other and always greeting one another with a “You are me, and I am you” sort of expression, humanity stops the high, middle, low class system and instead does like a sort of self-distributed communal system? It’s hard to explain how it works but it seems like cities also stop being a thing and population spreads more evenly in maybe 500k pop communities so there isn’t say a huge New York and a small Somerton Arizona. They all need a certain amount of people to remain self-sufficient or something like that. Humans begin a new academic system as well, now humans study whatever they’re interested in, some are even multi-disciplinary students, but for the most part the new system allows humans to develop themselves to such a degree that self-realization is attainable to everyone. I keep seeing as generations pass 1 by 1 into the future and I see how fast technology and culture developes, eventually humans become so technologically advanced that the planet is completely restored to a “wild” state, because technology no longer occupies the resources of the planet, it’s now completely integrated to it. Humans eventually change their physical appearance to a point where they no longer look like us and instead look like reflective marbled skin with no eyes, no nose, no ears, no hair, no mouth, just arms, and legs. But at that point humanity drops significantly in quantity and there’s only around 1k humans left around the planet and that’s because humans evolved so much that the ones left behind are their out of sheer desire, they want to stay on Earth a bit longer before they leave to “another dimension”, the lifespan of these humans is insanely long so they move like trees, I saw most of them just sitting or standing and Mother Aya said to me that some of them had been like that for over 3 centuries and others for several millenia just reverberating in their own presence (you’d have to see it to see what I mean) eventually when those last humans were ready to go they’d finally move and then sacrifice their bodies either by dissipating into very very microscopic particles or expanding outwards in a sort of softly controlled explosion without the fire, more of an energy explosion that eventually left nothing behind as if there was never a human there in the first place. In a breakthrough I was shot like a rocketship very very high into idk where until I finally reached a sort of magnificent temple of an architecture that is impossible for us to grasp, but it seems to be several forms all at once and none at once, it was from my pov the ultimate form of architecture, I walk in and explore a bit until I see far in the distance a sort of throne room of some kind and there’s 3 majestic looking beings very similar to the last evolution of humans I saw in my previous visions, 1 sitting down in a chair and the other 2 standing next to it, 1 on the left and 1 on the right. The one from the center uses his what I think is a telekinesis to pull me up and towards them and then it’s like they know everything about me, everything and more, know me better than I’ll ever know myself, and eventually the one in the center speaks in a sort of telepathic intuitive language (not verbal like the ones we use, it’s like a silence that just transmits the knowledge directly) and says to what my brain understood as “Stop apologizing for existing, and accept your divinity…” after moment of silence that being pushed me out of the temple and threw me back into the storm of cosmic realms (whatever you wanna call it) and then I go into a sort of weird trance where I see my body and another huge golden body in front of me glowing very intensely like the sun and I notice that my physical body starts to move on it’s own, my spine becomes completely straight, my arms fan out and I began to do these sort of hand shapes/gestures automatically and I begin to speak in another tongue, which to me sounded a lot like Aramaic but I could be wrong and while that was going on I just felt like my entire body cracked open and something shot out of me like a beacon directly to that huge golden body. I also saw the reflection of the self in a void, where in a ceremony the eyes of all the participants opened on the malocas roof until I focused on the one directly above me and realized it was my own eye, when I realized this the rest of the other eyes closed one after the other quickly and only that eye was left, I kept staring directly and the longer I stared the more I felt like I was being taken somewhere else, then a voice spoke to me again in a telepathic intuitive language that my brain understood as “Everything you seek, you’ve already found. You are there, because you are here, and I am here, because you are there. We were always here and we will always be here.” And after that specific experience ended I came to understand that my current experience as me rn in this moment is a sort of echo from something that has already happened long long ago, I’m not really here right now, I am, but at the same time I’m not. These are only some of the ones I can make sense of through words but many of the things I experienced in Aya was so indescribable that I can even begin to write down what that was like, all I can say is it’s a very very humbling experience, it can be intense and visceral sometimes but the lessons you learn are priceless imo.

I mean we all have a consciousness. It only differs from person to person in its content, for example in the conceptions we have of ourselves and our experiences, but how does it otherwise differ? We also don't yet know what consciousness actually is. Maybe it's not just an emergent phenomenon, but more of a fundamental property of the universe. After all, we cannot imagine why physical processes in the brain are accompanied by conscious experience. We think that's self explanatory, but it's not, it's mysterious. Our theories about the fundamentals of physics give no information about what we call conscious experience. By the way, what does "the physical" mean anyway? Because all we see are only processes, not things. Even the mass of matter is a process, an activity. Or the electron is not really a thing, but the activity of the electromagnetic field that pervades the whole universe. I think our physics only describes activities and how these activities interact, but physics doesn't know anything about the underlying things that are active. Our understanding is enough to predict nature to a certain degree, or to build some technology, but it doens't reach existential ground.

What if heaven and hell are actual creations of our minds and when we die, time becomes so distorted that it seems like eternity. Then the only judges of our actions are ourselves, and remembering the life we lived as either virtuous or unjust we are submitted for eternity in what our conscience thinks what we deserve.

13:36 I know it was a joke but I’m thinking, since multiple people die and multiple babies are born all at once basically on Earth.. The person talking to God in their hands is literally EVERYONE who is dying/ have died. Time doesn’t exist in their universe, on that plane, so the God is basically saying it only once. They don’t need to say it every time someone dies because we all are one, we are that guy in the god’s hands all at once…. Idk tho lol. For fun, maybe the egg cracks open once we get reborn after what the god says because we were told the meaning of everything, and since we are maturing and being steady reborn, humans are maturing within it because of time but at the “same” rate of being told all of this. So we have finally matured and was born a god. . . I hope at least some of that makes sense.

it’s crazy. the lack of religion could be considered a religion. the belief that nothing happens after death is just as valid as going to heaven or hell or being reincarnated. it’s a belief nevertheless. but it’s highly unlikely that nothing happens after death. one piece of evidence of this is dreams. things that we can’t explain and things that we’ve never thought of. these thoughts must come from somewhere. deep within our minds. if we could actually access all of the memories and information within our minds, we’d know more than any computer ever could. essentially… by the end of our lives, our minds hold more information than any computer. but we can’t remember these things. so who’s to say that we haven’t been reincarnated… just like how we forget minor things within our minds in minutes, entering another lifetime could make you forget the last. then the next makes you forget this one. so on and so forth. but nobody can really say what happens after death. we haven’t unlocked the ability to think freely. completely freely. we don’t em know everything. and some may not believe this but there are people on this earth who know about beings who have learned how to think freely. that used to be just like us. and even they may not be completely free from their own mind. in other words, even they may not be mature.

Not a fan of the reincarnating into every life bit, it is self defeating as the universe would be all at once, so it wouldn't really be reincarnating in any linear go back and forth through time sense, just all at once. Which makes a little more sense, infinite atoms and a universe figuring its self out. I have seen other sci-fi concepts like this such as the cosmic egg fertilization idea; that when the universe is old and filled only with ultra black holes, these black holes could merge into a single all universe black hole, and when this universe collides with another expanding universe just as old, their equivalents of black holes connect and mix and due to the differences in physics between the universes they *fertilize* and thus a new gigaversal being is conceived from this union. The entire universe is just a reproductive cell in the process sort of idea.

Ok to make this easier to understand what i am saying, Imagine all the people died came to this particular timeline where the soul listen to god, SO god doesnt have to tell this to everyone all the time but he does it in one go to all the people who died which is one soul.
