Vykes Spear is great I used it for my soul of cinder build on playthrough 2 it stun locks the hell out of enemies the poise damage is decent and the ability is great for bosses and pvp overall an amazing spear

Did a spear / shield run on my first ER run, as a wretch as well. Never played a souls-type game in my life and got gifted the game. Spears just felt really strong against most things melee based but the second I got into a ranged fight, I was useless hah. Hope the rest of this series you enjoy the spear. If you can manage to find the Bolt of Gransax during this randomized playthrough, I think you'll like it. Might have to level a touch of your mana and stamina but shouldn't be a problem.
