A free recording, made by volunteers, & most of the comments are to the bad quality? Maybe one of you know a recording studio & Morgan Freeman? This recording is worth far more than I payed for it. Thank you very much Expatriate for taking the time, with the best setup you have, to make it freely available to all.

Honestly, I'd happily volunteer my voice. I'm hoping to get into a voice acting career, and volunteering to do readings for people could help me get a portfolio of a sort, started. I have a powerful voice.

It’s a variation of the name. In Old Norse it’s called “Ásgarðr” (‘ð’ = soft ‘th’). In English, we often replace ‘ð’ with ‘d’.

God I hate librivox. There's almost as much "This is a librivox recording," spiel in their audio as there is content. They have the worst narrators on Earth, it'll be some dude with some affectation using two tin cans and a piece of string to record lisping and blasting plosives that'll make your ears bleed.
