I played this game when I was deployed in 2006. The music was so peaceful and calming. I remember always listening to it throughout my time in the service, then when Skyrim came out I would listen to it. While driving, or when I was ordered to a new state and a new base, I would listen to a lot of Oblivion and Skyrim music during my drives cross country. My Life feels like an Adventure

Thanks for watching man! If you're into music theory, it's a Gadd(4) chord (G-B-C) and it's the half step interval between the major 3rd (B) and the added 4th (C) that creates the tension. Beautiful sound!

Your playing is really incredible! Is there also something specific you do for recording quality? Besides your magical play, the sound quality sounds better than other guitar recording videos.

Thanks man! Nothing specific really. The most important thing would be to get the sound right at the source - good take and capture, good mic position, good room sound etc. Just a bunch of things to experiment with until you find something you like. I just use one condenser mic (Rode NT1-A) mixed with some DI. The condenser mic is a big factor when it comes to quality because of the level of detail it captures.
