They Ra Gada migration/conquest of Hammerfell started during and after a war between them and the Lefthanded Elves or “Sinistral Elves.” It’s theorized that the Sinistral elves are remnants from a previous time or dragonbreak, but is not confirmed. The Redguard won the war, but later fell into infighting which was a cause or final act that lead to the continent sinking. They had a unique form of “Stone Magic” that is distinct from mainland sorcery, but is similar to shamanistic practices or “nature worship.” Still loving it and on to the next video!

Love your super thoughtful videos. The amount of Redguard lore is actually mind-blowing, and really hoping that we'll get more with this Redfall business. This inspired me to finish one of my own, I hope you don't mind I looked up some of these images and used a few I loved. I know it's always hard work, but pleazzze make more, I'm listening to these like a story podcast. Looking forward to a your growing channel :)

I'm currently working on a very long video that is going to be about 30 minutes long, so it is going to be packed with content! :D I am so happy to here this comment. I am excited too to grow more and make more content for the future to come! Especially as more news for TES VI and the not yet released mobile Blades game. I'll check out your channel too!

"Know, O Prince, that in the time of the Ra Gada, the Forebears did come to Hammerfell from doomed Yokuda. First they landed at Hegathe, which they freed of the affliction of the beast-peoples. Then spread they bothwise along the coasts, seeking out goodly harbors and well-watered oases. To the north and west went the warrior-sailors of the Grandee Yaghoub, in the great ships they had brought from Akos Kasaz, until they rounded Cape Shira. Then was Yaghoub the first of the Ra Gada to behold the Iliac Bay, and he deemed it laudable, and praised its excellences, and vowed to make his home thenceforth upon its shores."

You like Redguards, don't you ? Thx again and nice work. Speaking of races, will you do a series about the other races of Tamriel ? I'd love to see that, cz your video always very good and that's my favorite subject about ES (races, their cultures, lands, religions, elements or roleplay...) Well, you do whatever you want ;) Keep it up !

Thank you so much! I hadn't originally planned on covering the Ra Gada, but I decided to as per a request to, but it did feel fitting either way because I had mentioned the Ra Gada in my previous videos, so it felt fitting. But I definitely will cover all the races of Tamriel! The races and cultures are probably my most favorite aspect of TES Lore as well, from real life influence and the fantastic imaginations over at Bethesda, they never cease to fascinate me as well :D And thank you so much again, I really appreciate your kindness and consideration my friend.

The political tension between the Forbears and the Crowns is pretty intense. I would personally go with the Crowns because they still carry the roots and traditions of Na-Totambu culture.
@BlueBaron3339 Жыл бұрын
Sadly there's a real-world dark side here. For three years the only ES game in current, ongoing development - The Elder Scrolls Online - featured Redguards as a top warrior "race." Made sense. But then, emboldened by political events, a campaign by players with dubious motives began to get ZOS to nerf Redguards. Chief claim: players felt "forced" to play Redguards in warrior roles. They made no such complaint about playing humanoid cats or other "races." ZOS's solution: nerf Redguards, hand out free race change tokens, and never make another Redguard chapter.

Can you do a video about Khajiit? I swear I don't know how but you present details that I can find anywhere else including dedicated lore channels that I watch regularly of which there are many. Be honest, have you made a deal with Hermaeus Mora in order to gain forbidden knowledge?

@creaturefeet30366 жыл бұрын
Lady of Scrolls I completely agree, small details have an influence on larger events. Also when you do a video about the Khajiit you might want to consider making a section of it or maybe a separate video talking about what happens to a Khajiit that doesn't believe in the 'Lunar Lattice' I've heard that they are sent to the Scuttling Void when they die which is ruled by Namira but that one mention is all I have been able to find on the subject so if you made a video about that to my knowledge you would have a complete Monopoly on that subject on KZbin.
@ladyofscrolls45986 жыл бұрын

The Ra Gada isn't a race, they were a group of pilgrims from Yokuda. Their race is Redguard or technically Yokudan, which she has yet to do a whole video on. This is also one of her earlier videos, and if you haven't noticed, almost all of her earliest videos are really short, her newer videos are longer likely because she's improved and found more ways to do research on the given subject. In fact she has two videos covering Redguards, and I'm sure that her video she will actually do on Redguards will be just as long as her videos on other Races.

@@MMOLibrary are you literally trying to call this whole thing some racist agenda? She made two videos on cultures from the Redguards and they add up to 21 minutes. But oh because these videos both aren't 40 minutes long it's some racist agenda? Like I said, this is one of her earlier videos dude. If you wanna go attack actual racists then go comment shit like this on actual racists videos. Not some girl trying to make content on video game lore. Also, I bet you fucking $100 that when she does do a video on the Redguards, it'll be as long as the others. Also, the Ra Gada only has enough content available for a shorter video. When she does videos on the races, she talks about their entire history, their origins, their religions, their relations with other races. Since the Ra Gada isn't a race, she's not gonna go into stuff like their religion or their racial origin.
