It’s a good game. But by god there is so much wrong with it. Bugs that stay in the game for years. Grinding new mythics twice a year. Lack of in game rewards. Not being able to farm stack of surveys at once. Lack of new PvP content. No incentive to go back to older content because of low population in those zones. The break down of raiding groups. The amount of new sets added every year. I can keep going. But it’ll become a patch note wish list.

Tbh the biggest endgame thing (for me) was the L2P part of the combat (animation cancel ect) that got highly reduced in the favor of new players, todays ESO combat is not as fluid as it was before Scalebreaker.

World of Tanks and World of Warships are brutal for the "Newest Shiny" overpowered plaything that sets the meta. They intentionally make them 20% more powerful than they should be, set the meta, set damage and score records, have them with better matchmaking, better earn rates... then once the sales spike is done the stats are stealth nerfed, matchmaking is reset, earn rate is nerfed, and a few public "balance patches" come out a month later to advertise the changes that were already made.

I left the same time as Sawman and it was the best time to imo. I was a beta player and played 1 mmo for a long time because another MMO was not needed. Today ESO is totally in the shitter. I feel bad people starting the game today. They totally missed the game in its heyday.

I've been playing eso since 2018 and the PVP scene is still where I find my enjoyment. Like Sawman, I wish the devs focused more on it but it's still very entertaining with almost infinite different outcomes in small scale battles, solo, or zerging cyrodiil with 10+ allies in your group.

Stopped playing the game when ESO tried to monetize revive scroll or something like that which costed like 300 gold in shops to deceive new players

The mythic items are honestly very.... meh a lot of the time. You have to sacrifice the highest tier of the set bonus you're wearing and those are often on par with the bonuses the mythics give. And being someone that tanked the hardest content for most of the game's life, I wore the same gear in most of it with only occasional changes.

It's sad what they have done to mmo's So much potential. Always ruined by greed. Just imagine what could be achieved with all the new technologies if making the greatest mmo ever would be their objective. But instead we have people who are motivated by either money or politics running the show in computer game development.

Ironically enough they actually made necrom a bit harder by adding group content in the overworld and tougher mobs, of course the content is dead now and some of it was nerfed since no one played it

@@trumangarrick9646 new content always ends up dead because there's no incentive, there's no end game content for vet players to play new content aside from gear farming dungeons / trials for BiS gear. It's been that way for a long while now. None of that matters because the game itself is dead. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It used to be. Sucks ass now. Every single ESO streamer and content creator has quit. All the ones u see now just came about because no one cares to cover it anymore.

Say that to wow cinematic and wow gameplay. Grow up … Cinematic almost never look like what the game actually plays, especially for MMO…

ESO mythics are NOT behind a paywall...I don't even know how you could buy any of them. You learn a skill and level it but yeah you do have to have the expansion that gives you antiquities... ESO is really not pay to win unless you consider buying new expansions to be the same thing. Visual progression comes from Vet Trials and yes you still need to work to get it - example Vet Sunspire mount and skin... I gave up WOW after 10 years for ESO which I've been playing since the beta. I love ESO but you do really need a good guild to get the most out of it. I am NOT a PVP player and really don't give a crap about it though I have played it some and ESO is the only game where I've enjoyed it slightly. PVP in Imperial City is fine...but this guy seems to think Cyrodil is the only PVP - it's not - you have Cyrodil, Imperial City and Battlegrounds.

You have to buy chapters to access the mythics. Chapters are NOT free with the sub.. Hence, they ARE paywalled. It's not even a argument, it's pure fact. 🤷‍♂️
