or who knows, the elder scrolls might actually refer to the saved game files... whenever you save the game, you create a new scroll... whatever's been done in that, can no longer be changed in the same way the past is fixed... unless that scroll (saved game) is replaced with another scroll (overwritten)...

wu1ming9shi MORE!!! A scroll is made for every saved game ever in any elder scroll game and beyond.. the elderscroll u read for insight to the dragonrend shout was simply a very skilled Bethesda employee’s saved beta game where he just defeated Alduin in an unreleased elder scrolls game installment: TES -5 the dragon war

I like to think that an elder scrolls game (morrowind, oblivion...) its like an elder scrolls that contains the history of an important hero (nerevarine, dovahkiin...) its a CD that has all the information and the diverses futures that could happen depending on the hero actions. That's why the game itself it's calles "the Elder Scrolls"

The elder scrolls are so complex. They are a good focal point of the series because just as all possible futures are true, whatever choices you make in the game are cannon to the player.

I wonder if the Altmer also have a way of reading the scrolls. If the Dwemer and the Imperials can figure it out, you'd have thought that the High Elves (especially the Psijic Order) would be able to come up with their own method.

but then, how do you explain the fact that Talos changed history, in fact he changed the history of all of cyrodill to become a grassland instead of a jungle in the past, present and future upon Chiim. Can someone explain this?
@Aramithius7 жыл бұрын
The Elder Scrolls don't describe everything, just specific parts and possibilities within the Aurbis. It's entirely possible to manipulate the bits of history that aren't mentioned in the Scrolls, I imagine. And, because of what CHIM means, I doubt that those who attain it would want to alter those things outlined by the Scrolls.
@stijnwildeboer88097 жыл бұрын
Aramithius So, you mean that in no elder scroll the actual look of Cyrodiil is never described?
@Aramithius7 жыл бұрын
Stijn Wildeboer That would be my understanding. Elder Scrolls don't describe places (from what we've seen), they describe Events.
@McSkydrow17 жыл бұрын
So that basically means, the Elder Scrolls are completely useless for seeing into the future? Because if one can see anything at any time they are as good as a group of humans with different opinions of the future...they are really only usefull for looking into the past. Or did I got something completely wrong?
@nutcrackit73967 жыл бұрын
in essence yes and no. Think of it as alternate time dimensions. These are created at every moment of time and can only be described as infinite. Every possibility in that moment happens. The elder scrolls lets you look into these future events seemingly at random(we have no true way of knowing what or how it is determined what you see) It shows a possibility for your timeline that you live in as the player which is dictated by your actions.
@nutcrackit73967 жыл бұрын
for anyone that wants to understand how this is different from a dragonbreak. a dragonbreak does have multiple time events happening at once but the thing is they all happen within the same timeline and all exist at once afterward in the same timeline.

ive watched a few videos by you and you're great however i think most of your problems like stuttering and pauses would be settled with writing a script and practicing, it sounds like youre reading off a script which is good it always good to have a plan however it sounds like you do it all in one take i think if you practiced a script a few more times before recording you'd come off way more natural sounding
@ImperialKnowledge8 жыл бұрын
doctor death defying I tried that with this video and I cut out most of the stuttering. It is still not perfect but better than most video's. The problem is though that I don't have that much time to make video's. I do this channel as a hobby so I only upload when I have time, but even when I have time it is kinda limited so practicing my script a few times is most of the time not possible. But I will try to do it in the future when I do have enough time :)
@preludetodemise8 жыл бұрын
Imperial Knowledge yeah time is never on anyones side, I'm sure as you make more videos you'll get better at it, im not saying you're bad I enjoyed this video, but as with anything practice makes perfect, a year from now if you're still making videos you'll look back on this and laugh.
