I stumbled across this video on Facebook and what a shock it was when my Great Grandfather William Haight was mentioned To the maker of this video.. thank you! I would also like to know if you know anything else about my GG Grandfather. Our family didn't know too much about him and we definitely did not know this!! I'm pretty proud of him. Great video!!

Great video that got me searching on-line for info. A William Haight did die in a car accident in 1934. Photos of the road and car are available in the USC photo archive. It lists a Moritz Funeral Home which I assume is where the body was sent. No Moritz is currently operating in Los Angeles but there are two places in NY and NJ. They started business in 1934. Mr Haight lived at 616 N. Normandy Ave in Los Angeles per an LA Times article. Also mentioned that a test was conducted in 1927 near Pasadena. Odd since other articles report his lab was in Montebello. The large-scale test was not conducted on NYE 1929. An article published on Jan 1, 1933 reported that the test was scheduled with-in the next two weeks. While I don't believe that his system would cause wide-scale rain, I do accept that he may have been affecting the micro-climate by enhancing rain formation in the localized area.

I can't wait until you get to the NIKE missile silo. I love hearing stories about the area we are in. My favorite story of the area I learned about in a California History Class was the battle of Rio Hondo. Thank you for your videos and I always get excited when a new one pops up.

jeff campbell the pool that has the satanic items in it isnt there a house there where the satanist go to get there itms for rituals
@yeaitsmemikec.20187 жыл бұрын
its me mike I was on a brothers YT........the pool was there for decades..people skated it in the 70s.....all I remember was the pool and a chimney and the ''hell gates'' ... a little bit above at the highest peek at top of the drive way at sky line dr was a plat form with a 12 pointed zodiac painted on the ground...where I assume some rituals took place ( I have no idea when ) I remember a huge tree log was along the wall up the drive way.,.rumors were people would drive up there and get trapped in...but I don't know if true or rumor......ive never seen satanic items..other than the painted zodiac.....I hike the canyon often now.....I don't see any thing unusual......same time the pool was buried..so was that platform with the zodiac sign
@yeaitsmemikec.20187 жыл бұрын
im thinking the place where the platform was with the zodiac......... was about where this dome was.....@ ...that is the highest peek and use to be a shed there......one water tower remains..there use to be a hollow water tower with a couch inside in the 90s I remember....I only see one now and it is a functioning water tower...probably for irrigation for the canyon

Thank you for doing all this research. I realize it was extensive. I wonder if Mr. Dodrill was the same man for whom Dodrill Hall at St. Mathews church is named. Also, the correlation between Tesla and this electric invention makes lots of sense. are there any remnants of the tower still up there off of Turnbull Canyon. Seems to be sort of close to the old Hacienda Heights Woman's Clubhouse (was North Whittier). I do know of a woman who is 100 with mental faculties who was a member of the club back then who may recall something - as there were few homes there then.
@forgottensocal10 жыл бұрын
I do know Dodrill Drive off of Hacienda blvd is named after him. I believe that his ranch house once stood about where the OLD Taco bell stands today. I went up there to look at the area... the area if fenced off poorly. I imagine its fenced off because of the old well. But someone has been down there before and vandalized the gate. it was easy to look around in there. Then the bushes inside the gate rustled.. something was living in there. probably a deer, but i wasnt going to take any chances, I took that as a que to move on. The only other thing I saw up there was a large bent pipe sticking out of the ground.

@@forgottensocal Good idea to not stick around that could of been a bum and that might not have been a pipe sticking up.

A great series so well researched. Electrify was thought to be the key to solving al matter of problems by shooting electrify at an object, or the sky. Medical conditions such as infection, arthritis, and backaches. Skin burns or electrocution were the only real results, there were no cures. Most everyone has seen the pictures from the era showing women with small towers of tangled wires and metal clips which when charged with voltage would curl to hair or complete a permanent, shocks, burns, and a few deaths followed, as well as curly hair. We don’t know all that electrify can do but so much more than the “ fun” days when inventors filled the sky with manmade lightening another interesting episode of an odd character.

I Heard of Hells Gates down Turnbull Canyon I wonder if that place has anything to do with this Electrodome? I seen footage of the area by others and It kind of matches the description of where this thing might be located. There was a old abandoned shack looking thing. I bet they torn down that dome a long time ago.Pretty cool Story there so much to Whittier I still don't know yet. I wonder if they have any Hysterical buildings?......... I like what they did to the old train tracks. they put some info there on how Whittier use to be like.
@forgottensocal10 жыл бұрын
I assure you that the Electrodome has nothing to do with "Hell's Gate." that place was an old house that burned down in the 1989 Turnbull Canyon fire. no more... no less. The history in Turnbull canyon is a lot more rich than those gates.

Priscila Nunez It's a house that burned down. Id really like to be able to say that it would make a great documentary... but, it just wouldn't.. Its a boring story. However, I did think about making a video about it... it probably wouldn't be any longer than 30 seconds though. HAHA.
