SPOILER: congratz to coder - to be honest, it would've felt wrong if i took it after such a dominant run from the boy. heads-up play with the gorgon's gaze - to be honest, i wasn't even thinking of the consequences of the lycarus move to soarlet! well played to all!

This game looks so good, I love these types of games as a yugioh player. This might actually scratch an ich I've been having of playing a game that's got a ton of back and forth while also having a bit of explosive points. I'm glad these appeared on my yt feed

Later in the life of this game, when it hopefully becomes a household name and big corp type of game, people are going to come back to these videos that mark the inception of the game, and i wish to see their faces when they realise that people used to swear on official tournament footage

Sheesh, why haven't they talked trash like this all season. This was the most hype clash.
@Zedja11 ай бұрын
Because MBT and Distant Coder are friends and are both Yu-Gi-Oh streamers. Unless you want to come off as an a-hole you don't really trash talk people you don't know.

Congrats to everybody involved on a very exciting and successful series of clashes between awesome people. In the future, if we can see a more diverse pool of tcg oriented players that would really take this to the next level. That being said, i think the elestriad was successful in what it was trying to acheive. I dont know if it would extend the videos too long but it would be cool to have post game interviews or weekly recap videos. I was able to keep up with all the matches on a daily basis but i think that also helps those that don’t follow it as religiously as I did catch up with the rest quickly. Either way, I commend Adrive for the production of the tournament and I know this will only keep getting better

Great games! I won't spoil anything for those who haven't watched yet, but it was a fun one, some cool cards are played. Congratulations to the winner, can't wait to see the Divine Rune promo when it's released Also, side note: That Track playing in the background by Tailwindz is absolutely amazing! Feels fitting for a tournament finale!

Amazing gamers, great players, and the elestriad as a whole was fantastic! Extremely entertaining and informative. If you're looking for ways to improve - there could be a bump in production quality if people were in person and you were able to control camera heights, etc. Viewer having information which is know to players such as set cards or those in hand would be an improvement as well :)

BIg ups-Content creators SHady Coder and MBT were people I already watched a lot of, sealed format, long form tournament, Cons-Daily is a lot, more Elestrals community people

These YuGiOh content creators were great! I wouldn't mind seeing more YuGiOh content creators or 'Taste of Victory' from Digimon TCG.

The Elestriad as a whole was very cool and made me very excited to try the game. In terms of Casters for future seasons, I would love to see players from different TCGs, like Magic, Hearthstone or Pokemon represented. To be specific Ben Wheeler, Rarran, Voxy, and AzulGG would be interesting in my opinion. The first two already have experience with a wide variety of TCGs, so their perspective on the game would be interesting. Voxy is both very entertaining and has some experience with Magics limited gamemodes, which would be interesting for this format. AzulGG has a very high-level understanding of his game and is able to pass on his knowledge, so seeing him learn the game would be interesting. In terms of the format my only complaint is, that decks converged relatively quickly and decks were very close to regular constructed decks for much of the season. This is in part due to the Starter Decks that contain a lot of competitive cards. While this is good for players trying to build a collection, imo it makes deckbuilding less interesting. Maybe limiting how often players can open Starter Decks is a solution for this (e.g. every 3-4 weeks).

great games! I really loved this series, but I do have some things that I wish were different. I think the games really should have been bo3 throughout the whole series, there were a few games where players just drew badly and got demolished in 10 minutes, and I think bo3 would have made this tournament a lore more fair, and more fun to watch by giving us more stuff. I understand you said there were time contraints before with bo3 so I understand if you'e unable to implement it in the future, but I really think it should be taken into consideration. A lot of the draft videos felt like they didn't have much remarkable in them, it was just 20 minutes of someone opening a structure deck. I think in the future you should combine the opening, deck profile, and battle all into one video, since the draft part can really be cut down. I don't really need to hear someone explain whats in the earth structure deck for the 7th time, it would make more sense if they just went over hte cards they added from their pulls in their deck profile, obviously things like pack openings would take longer, but even in the pack openings players rarely opened lots of great cards that warranted us needing to see the whole thing, just including the specific remarkable pulls would have cut down on the time a lot. Great series overall though, really looking forwards to what you have to offer in the future!

It was cool but it might be good to next time limit it to just packs. Especially if possible to get it together in time for set 2. Could be fun to get different people involved and serve as a sort of advertisement for the set.

I've felt like Coder has had a bit of an advantage to the other players, simply because he is a Yu-Gi-Oh judge which means he has the habit of studying the cards to really understand what they do. Just like he has to do every time Konami releases new sets of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Normal players of Yu-Gi-Oh are known for not really reading the cards that are played.
@DustdeviIs11 ай бұрын
what are you talking about
@Zedja11 ай бұрын
@@DustdeviIs What I'm talking about is as a Tournament Judge, you have to know exactly what all the cards do, so that you can properly do rulings. Which means Coder has to study all the cards that gets released in Yu-Gi-Oh. Constantly doing this creates a habit of studying cards, which in turn makes it so he would know the strategies of when to use specific cards.
