A monster that is unaffected by card effects shouldn't be able to be sent to the GY by the effect of Last Turn. The reason why is because, the part that reads "[...] send all other cards on the field and in their respective owners' hands to their respective Graveyards." is written the same in the OCG as Chaos Emperor Dragon's pre-errata'd text from that era. Meaning, the activated effect of Last Turn sends all the other cards to the GY, it does not force the controlling player to send their cards to the GY.

I think the last question actually makes sense, specifically because the end of damage step substep states it sends monsters destroyed by battle to the graveyard, but in this case the monster equipped is destroyed by card effect, not battle as it’s a substitute for the Relinquished. It is a bit counterintuitive but it’s similar to Legendary Six Samurai Shi En’s protection effect where it destroys another Six Samurai monster as a card effect instead of battle.

I think one reason for Relinquished and Thousand-Eyes Restrict to destroy their substitute after damage calculation and not later is flavour. After damage calculation is a phase where the monster determined by the battle calculation to be destroyed draws its last breath: its lights go out, its continuous effects stop applying, before it is destroyed and leaves the field at the end of the damage step. Relinquished, however, doesn't die so easily and immediately substitutes the monster it had absorbed, destroying it right after the damage calculation. Since that is a destruction by card effect, it is instantaneous.

What is return to GY? Plant? If spin is to top of deck, what about bottom? Sink? What about the term...sizzle?
@Luckingsworth2 жыл бұрын
Note that bounce is a term engrained in playable card games at this point thanks to uts origins the MTG card "Bounce" that returns a creature to the hand. So it was not a made up goofy term like the rest but an established term for that effect 🙂

@aguythatplayscardgames11812 жыл бұрын
So what I’m understanding is that you have used a gagagaga magi to make an F0 and then you’re trying to use the gagagaga eff to make cook a 4k beater but negate its effects and then you chain cooks eff to pop all cards on your field, so in this case the cook will just be unaffected and nothing will happen
