The thing is, I think Tennant and Capaldi matched his intensity very well, but Smith had such a capability to pull off both the fun, carefree Doctor and the intense, traumatized Doctor in a way nobody has before or since. The most complete Doctor imo (Gatwa is close for me tho)

Matt Smith was the very best at showing the Doctor angry. Though this vid seems to show more of him being told off than being Angry. It should’ve included a bit more from the Weeping Angels trying to make him angry, the scene where he discovers what they did to that space creature for the Queen to live on (No one human gets to talk to me today) that really showed some rage.

It is something that always bugged me. The Doctor did the cruel math in The Time War and made the decision. Changing causality at a whim is one thing. Seems to me that The Doctor should apply the cruel math that sometimes needs to be done every time he encounters Daleks. The idea of keeping himself is one thing, but sometimes things need smiting.
