Hey If I want to use them as the main light, at maximum power I can work at f 5.6 or 8 with soft box, or is the power too low for that? The normal max aperture range of 2.8 to 4? Or at maximum power can I work with a little more depth? My studio is small

I currently own an Elinchrom BRX 500/500 kit. Although they are excellent, by having only 2 lights limits what you can do in studio. I want to get an additional 2 lights and was wondering if the Elinchrom D-Lites are any good? I want to be able to use 4 lights at the same time. Has anybody tried using both BRX and Dlites together? And how to they perform? Which D-lite is best? My key lights will still be the BRXs, the extra lights i want will be used for background lighting, rim, etc... so should i even need to get another set of Elinchroms, or would a cheap (ie. speedlites) flash system be adequate?

Hi, can i use RX one and RX 2 as backlit? Or do they both have to be the same model? Thank you in front...

Hi, and thanks for sharing this. Could you make a review of the Portalite 56 cm Octa? I'm am thinking of buying a single RX One with the deflector kit, and the Portalite Octa as a more portable location setup, instead of a beautydish. (I have the Tronix Explorer Mini battery pack, and a D-Lite 4 it softbox kit)

What is a "slave cell"?
@ThePhotographerAcademy7 ай бұрын
There are different types of slave cell, but the main ones are: a sensor that see when another flash is fired and then triggers the receiver flash. The other is the likes of infrared where again one flash sends a signal and the other receives the signal and then fires.

Bhow to make the modeling lamp white? My rx4 lamp is yellow?
@ThePhotographerAcademy9 жыл бұрын
Ron Favor The modelling bulbs are tungsten and and do give off a yellow light. This is smply corrected with changing your white balance on camera.

Thanks for the response. But that not what i meant. I mean, can i replace the modeling bulb (tungsen) to a white lights (daylight) to make or use it also as a continious light. Any suggestion on any white bulb i can buy or led lights?

Will this system work with any camera
@ThePhotographerAcademy8 жыл бұрын
+Jenny Myers The ligting kits come with the Elinchrom SkyPort triggers. They will work with almost any camera system. You can find out which cameras are supported from the Elinchrom website www.elinchrom.com/compacts/one.html
