The Elixir of Love!

This love potion created for valentine's day is composed with a pink joconde sponge soaked with a strawberry and rose champagne syrup, a fresh strawberry compote, a thin layer of strawberry cremeux, a rose champagne clear jelly with pink gold flakes, a crunchy layer of naturally pink ruby chocolate and the cork is an actual strawberry and lemon lollypop.

Food art is always fascinating to me because by it's very nature it's effervescent. It's not meant to last, it cannot last, and once it's eaten, it only exists in videos and pictures. And yet people pour hours and hours into developing their skill and creating such beautiful, temporary art... It's why I love Art and love humanity. And food. Food is good too.

I think he is making more mini heart bottles from all the ingredients. I mean look at the amount of materials in the video. He created a tiny cake from a multitude of creams and bakes and sugary glaze And at the end he eats one. I don't think he throws all the left over materials in the trash. Sugar, creams,glazes etc they all can be used at another project.
