The way you teach this makes me feel like I could actually do it.. I am a beginner level knitter and I've wanted to expand my skills for a long time but struggled to understand how to do more than the basic stitches.. I've never found a video that made me feel like I could easily recreate it, till I found your videos. So thank you and I appreciate you.

Something that would also help with the curling is when you start a knit row first and last Stitch would be pearl and when you start a pearl Row first and last Stitch would be knit it helps prevent the curling I don't know why

Beautiful stitch, thank you! I haven't tried twisted stitches yet but this looks like it'd be a good introduction.

@FiberSpider I have an assignment for you (laughing but serious) First, thank you, I'm still a newbie knitter, left handed and can actually follow most of your knitting tutorials, AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING! The assignment? I've learned a couple of selvedge edge techniques that help me with my edges. I haven't been able to follow all tutorials on them though because most are right handed and I can't follow most of those. I use them mostly because I have trouble finding the ends of the rows if I have to sew them together which usually turns into just crocheting into them because it's easier (for me) and it makes the edges look like a cast off row or the tops of crochet stitches. Sorry for the long post and thank you for another tutorial.

Been looking for an 'engaging' knitting project after acquiring this collection of 'vintage' needles. Think ;ll start with a swatch and a repeat of three for a scarf.

Thank you for this video and for the clarity in it. I’m finding the twist where you knit in the back loop tricky. Can it be done with a cable needle? I find those easier.

I never have really looked into your knitting videos because I mostly watched a lot of Turkish ladies crocheting and because they have knitting and crochet in their title I think the KZbin algorithm puts a bunch of their knitting videos in because of that. So I have set all that to say this ... I have learned to knit the way Old Russian grandma's knit which is really cool fast and very simple but I don't know how it will translate to getting certain patterns done in certain other styles unless I change the style or somehow retranslate the pattern to how it will work in the Russian grandma knitting that I do ...and since I can't see right now I really hope this voice to text is working like it should instead of like a drunk secretary back from a five martini lunch....lol

What do I need to do if I want to make the lattice pattern smaller in size, perhaps half the size shown in the video.

This may seem like a dumb question, but can this be turned into a crochet pattern? I've never knitted, only crochet, and at my age I don't think I can learn anything else.

There's a pattern for crochet called waffel stich. It looks almost like this one. Just search for waffel stich at google or KZbin. Hope this helpes 😊. There are no dumb questions. If we don't ask how are we supposed to learn?

@@CMeyer-ut3dd I can't, I have MS and it affects my hands, if I didn't have those ergonomic crochet hooks, I wouldn't be able to do that, and even with those, it's pretty hard
