What makes this so much sadder to me is that Jin and Hobi are like the source of energy of the team and army , we expect them to be happy because they never show us when they're in pain and it must be such a burden to always be bubbly for us. Namjoon also stayed in the back comforting members when he, himself was trying to hide his tears, I won't ever find a better leader than ours . And all of this really makes me think that we never truly know if they're ok and it kills me to know that right now they could be facing the worst kind of sadness in their life but then turn on the cameras and smile for us. And the way Tae broke down when Jin mentioned disbanding has me in tears

@@meabhocofaigh3554 yeah, I feel like him and Hobi and even Namjoon are the ones that always pretend to be strong and ok even if they aren't and I just wanna give them a hug and tell them that they don't need to be happy and bubly all the time. And the thing that makes me sad is when I read comments like J-Hope is happy all the time, and he's not, he's happy for us but he's human, he feels pain and sadness and clearly showed how good all of them are at hiding their struggles from us when no one even dreamed that they were going through a tough time enough to make them consider disbanding.

​@@lauraaa3049 I agree, sometimes I wish the company would stop making Hobi put on this exaggerated smiley persona, because you can see how forced it is and he shouldn't have to be someone he isn't, fans push the narrative that he's always perfect and so content when really he's human too and in reality isn't like that. I don't mean to imply that he's fake or that he's actually a miserable person, because he is incredible but we have to remember he has emotions and stop believing that he's this person who always acts that way behind the cameras. Namjoon has way too much pressure put on him, the company need to get them a freaking translator for interviews and let them rest for once because the entire group is clearly exhausted but the amount of responsibility he carries is insane. I just want Jin to know that he's loved, too. And the extreme sexualisation of Jungkook NEEDS to stop, it's so disrespectful. All of them deserve a break, an extended one. I hope they're ok and that the fandom wakes up and realises bts don't owe us anything.

MAMA- mnet Asian music awards Mnet is basically like a company that hosts award shows, music shows, festivals, etc This was such an emotional speech for both bts and ARMY bcz this was when they first decided to let the public know that they were considering disbanding. Even the other kpop idols in the stadium had started shedding some tears because their speech was THAT impactful

The relationship we have with the boys is honestly so comforting. They came into my life when I was at one of my lowest points, and to be honest I wouldn’t say they completely changed me, but they pushed me far enough so I could change. When I joined and became a fan, I found so much raw beauty that I didn’t know I even needed. I found beautiful music, beautiful lyrics, (beautiful people lol), but what I found also, was beautiful souls. That might sound corny, but you must understand that I had never seen such wonderful human beings. They have such beautiful hearts, and that’s why it was so easy to become a part of what they had created. I am so grateful I didn’t lump them in with other boy bands, and I am so grateful I read their lyrics. I fully believe that everything our boys have achieved they deserve, and that it was not the result of ‘over hyped’ fangirls. And ARMY’s are wonderful. I’ve met toxic people, but those people are usually very young, and don’t really know how to appreciate the love we have received. Plus, if I can be so bold to say... You can’t really be ARMY if you don’t love or respect people. BTS taught to love ourselves and also others, and if you don’t take that into account and go hating on other people, other fandoms, and just individuals in general, then did you really learn anything? Did you really care for the message? But generally speaking ARMY’s are the best. I am in MANY fandoms, but not one is on the same level as ARMY. And that is not to say that other fandoms aren’t great, but the amount love and genuine support is unmatched. And it shows. We have never booed BTS, and never given our boys a black ocean, (Other fandoms sadly have because of fan wars), we stream hard, (not because we want to be at the top, but so that we can reward BTS for all their hard work, and show them that they have done a good job). The saying goes: BTS will come into your life when you need them, and I believe that’s true. If you’ve seen them, reacted to them, listened to their music and still can’t see what is there, then that’s ok, it’s not your time yet. They will find you eventually. Anyway thank you for this reaction Caitlin!!! This one was really special, and I cried with you, so thank you!

2018 was literally the year where BTS finally broke through all the prejudices and limitations for foreign artists and started their current journey in the western industry by securing their 1st #1 on the BB Hot 200......can you imagine what would have happened had they disbanded right before then??? I’m so incredibly proud of these boys for persevering and being able to overcome whatever pressures and demons were plaguing them in the beginning of 2018 bc had they not done so, they wouldn’t be making history today 💜

I've seen this speech at least 50 times and I still start crying when JHope starts to cry and I cry for the rest of the whole speech! Our 7 Men are so talented and now so famous and yet they still remain humble, thankful, and say all of their success is because of ARMY's love for them. I had concert tickets to see them in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 the spring of last year. I was heartbroken when the concert got indefinitely postponed. I turn 61 this year and seeing a BTS Live Concert is a life's dream for me. I am truly frightened with this whole Covid mess that I may not ever see this dream to come true. These 7 amazing Men found me in Jan 2018 when I was in a very dark, deeply depressed state. They helped me find my way out of my pit of desperation. It is still difficult some days but watching their videos and snippets of live performances help me grow a little stronger so I can face my Depression a little stronger. I don't want to even think about where I would have been without my 7 Angels. If only I could meet them to thank them for saving me. I am not well physically but I swear I would get on my knees and give them the deepest bow of gratitude! (I'm sure that I will need someone to help me up after but it would be worth it! BTS is most certainly the brightest ray of hope that shines in my life, and will continue to be so until I leave this world. I pray every day, hoping I can go to a BTS concert... I've never been to a live Concert and I'm 61!?!? How sad is that girl?!?! I don't think they even do these any more but I would LOVE to do a Meet & Greet with them. 2020 was a horrible year! Let's all send out positive energy to the universe! Maybe if there is enough of us doing this we can make 2021 the catalyst for a new and better beginning for our world! 🙄🤭😳. That was an emotional day for armys. I remember watching it live and it broke my heart into pieces. I can't imagine what they were going through during the time and the whole disbandment thing was just devastating. We always see them smiling and having the time of their lives but none of us see what they go through behind the camera. In the festa 2018, yoongi talked about how they achieved things that they did not even dream of and wondered if there were anymore dreams at all. Its like they had to maneover through paths that many korean artists had never walked on before, they had tight schedules and they were in the process of renewal of contracts and thinking of the band's future. I think everyone cries watching this, especially the first time. I put off watching the whole thing when it came out because I heard it was really sad. When I did get around to watching it, I held back my tears until Yoongi (my bias) said he's never been happier. I just started sobbing after that.

I remember when I watched that award show. I cried so SO HARD and I kept crying for like an hour lol. I mean BTS is so important to me, they brought happiness to my life and I just love them so much at the point that I can love them as my family. And when I watched that speech and I heard Jin saying they thought of disbanding at the begging of the year my heart just broke in pieces, It hit me so hard because imagine a world and my life without BTS is so painful to me. It hurts my heart the thought of them disbanded because they are tired mentally and emotionally. I know they can't be like right now forever but I really hope they still together loving each other like friends and brothers and I hope they still making music for us because they want, without pression and if they became tired physically by the time, we don't care If they decided not to dance that hard anymire because they are getting older or whatever. Like Yoongi said, I just Hope they still together making music for another 30 years or at least being close friends like right now (I know they will because they clearly love each other so much like a family) 💜 My English suck I'm so sorry

They’re still so humble and despite being so obviously great, they always promise to work harder and not be an embarrassment to ARMY. As if that were possible. I truly hope they win at the Grammys. We’ll all be having the biggest worldwide cry fest but it’ll be tears of joy. And no other singer or group deserves it more. I love that they aren’t afraid to show their emotions. And I’m glad that there wasn’t that “okay, that’s enough” music that plays at American award shows. This was such a heartfelt thank you from BTS to ARMY, their families, and those people who have stood with them during the hard times. 💜
