What an amazing player and what an amazing man. He is a credit to his parents. He clearly is very grounded and hasn't let the fame get to his head. I definitely want to go to his new pub! Could be the best Golf Video I have seen. He was a good lad and still is. So real and authentic - I just realised what gave him that tough edge you need to succeed, he played Hurling! Those guys are absolutely crazy! Jokes aside he is one of my favourite players, he is very humble. Please youngsters of today look at people like this, what a great role model, care for family, well mannered, believes in where came from his home town - this exceptional. We can learn so much from the likes of Mr Lowery.

OMG, what does that turd McIlroy have to do with this decent, humble, awesome guy like Shane Lowry. Why do you have to even bring him up in the same breath. Lowry is a class act. Shane's dad was probably the most underrated player on that offaly team. He could pick off scores from well out the field when offaly really needed them. Some people would know that he was also a classy soccer player. Athlone town used implore him to sign for them, and that was back when they were the best team in the league of ireland, won two league titles back then. His first love was gaelic football though, and who could blame him. But for the fact that they coincided with that great kerry team, i reckon offaly would have added more all irelands back then.
