Zakuul is always my favorite new faction added into the Star Wars lore despite it being just legends now. If Zakuul became canon lore then I feel Luke would have learned a lot from a more neutral view of the force since the society of Zakuul views the force in a more neutral way of thinking instead of a it being a higher power or source of great power.

A fair point, although ironically the mere act of thinking of the Force neutrally rather than as a higher power is ironically extremely Dark Side, due simply to the fact that the truest form of the Light Side is total obedience to the Will of the Force, and as such, the less you consider the Will of the Force, the further you count as Dark. That's why the Prequels happened. Only Qui Gon Jinn listened to the Force's Will anymore, so it made Anakin, and set him up to be Palpatine's tool for a Jedi Genocide, with the side effect of creating a Galactic Empire as a result. Long story short, the Force is pretty much a petty tyrant, so any view not involving listening to it, while suicidal, is fair.

Maybe he senses Wrath there, or maybe he thinks that since the Wrath killed the former Emperor there, his physical presence left something there to be sensed, even if the presence is small.
