Just took my friend to this as part of his bachelor's party with the rest of the groomsmen and it was amazing. The dancers were talented, the host was comical, and the production was everything I would have wanted in a Star Wars parody. Thank you for such a good time.

Maybe, I was overstating, "nothing original," but it's not like Star Wars is that good of a setting. Lucas turned it into a stupid toy franchise long before he sold it to Disney.

Its a world where you can write knight stories, magic stories, adventure stories, war stories, bounty hunters, black ops, martial arts stories and they all feel part of that world. Its an amazing setting to tell any story. You have KOTOR dwelving into the clash of slave morality vs master morality to have games like Jedi academy where you are wondering the universe just being part of cool stories to republic commando which is just a great war game. How is that not that good of a setting? Also implementing other people's great ideas is not really imitating if you make something great out of it. He didnt even copy Tantor's place in the story with Coruscant's place in the story. Trantor was an over indulgance of "civilization" which felt soulles and dying, making the individual feel insignificant. Coruscant was the reigning political center of the galaxy with all its shining wealth and dark lower levels. Obviously there is a lot of stuff that he borrowed from other source but he integrated them pretty amazingly where they felt genuine. Also also Coruscant is said to be based on the 1927 film Metropolis not on Trantor but I cant deny the city planets have undeniable similarities

@@nemdenemam9753 I meant that the movies were rarely that good. The original edit of the original film was all that and a box of chocolates., but "Episode IV" stinks on ice. The second film was OK, even the enhanced versions, but with the third, SW descended into little more than feature length toy commercial. The prequels were barely coherent toy commercials. Now, The Clone War cartoons were excellent. There were two series, the first with traditional, and very artistic animation. I think it only ran a couple of episodes. The second Clone Wars cartoon, everybody knows, has unattractive CGI animation, but wonderful stories. The Disney Star Wars films are so incoherent and stupid, I just want to forget I ever saw a Star Wars film. Star Wars is dead.

Saw on a small stage in DC, LOVED IT !! All the ladies had hot bodies, great costumes and props. MC was really funny. Haven't laughed and cheered so much in ages. I'd seen clips of it on youtube before hand, and honestly didn't have real high expectations. It's so much better live with great music and lighting !! Even if you aren't a big Star Wars fan, the dances were so great ! I'd see it 2 nights in a row if I could. Was pleased they focused on the original trilogies characters, but they are setting themselves up for sequel and prequel shows, which is smart. No Jar Jar.

I believe this is an epic entertainment for adult star wars fans... I really want to see it live ! BTW just a friendly advice; Those beautiful dancers on boots may need some high-heel stilettos/boots (not platforms of any kind) to look more refined, classy & sexy. For example; Darth Vader's costume is perfect but the other dancers seem pale beside her. Also, Royal Guard's red/hot costume are highly provocative except those "heels..." - Any kind of platforms heels are so old, odd & ugly looking that they won't suit in this beautiful show.

I think they did that on purpose. Stormtroopers and Royal Guard are meant to be extras/support dancers, so it's kinda smart that they highlight the main characters by making them sexier.
