I think what I love the most about the OG track is how out of place it is in the entire series. No other track has this insanely happy tone to it like that song has. And here we have the remixed version. It sounds so different yet so similar and carries with it a new vibe that I didn't feel in the OG. "It's okay to fondly reminisce the past but always look forward to the future."

I've always appreciated the patches of brightness in Armored Core's OST. just enough light piercing the darkness to remind you that maybe there's something worth fighting for among the carnage. Like crepuscular rays bursting through rain clouds.

You can kinda rly tell how much Kota & co. rly value the memories made with the tunes they've composed for decades worth of nostalgia now, and its really really charming. Heartwarming even, especially for players that have a strong connection to the games

One of my all-time favorite Armored Core tracks (you can say what you want about Nine Breaker as a game, but the opening song was truly magical) - seeing this in the playlist had me in disbelief initially, I'm so glad they decided to cover this one. In my opinion it absolutely does justice to the original and the team did an incredible job with this remix. Also the mere fact that we're getting another FreQuency remix / compilation album like this is such a welcome surprise, and I'm really hoping the series is back here to stay. Thank you!!

@@jamwrightiam It was literally the game that introduced me to AC and ignited my interest in the mecha genre, before playing it I had 0 interest in Mecha but the gameplay hit even though I knew nothing of whats going on and what I was supposed to do, also the game was in Japanese coz thats what was available back then xD THIS and the garage music still stuck with me to this day.
