I would love to see another Wheel like thing similar to the one this season. Tarot Cards would be a fun way to do that. They take 15 of the Arcana and di fightes that relate to them. For fun, lets say they are going to do fights based on the Arcana next year. Again, nothing is confirmed but I think it would be a fun way to speculate. Also 27:42 if you look carefully you can unironically see the Family Feud Logo which could possibly mean that STEVE HARVEY could have a DeathBattle episode (which would be HILARIOUS) though I could be wrong other than that, amazing reaction!

God what a season finale, Season 10 let out with a bang. A lot of animation went into the episode and it truly felt like an experience event finally happened. While not the best episode of the season as the pacing at the end was slow, I still enjoyed the effort put in making the most requested fight to an end. And Season 11 makes it look like this will continue to expand. Great reaction overall, and glad you enjoy the season with two of your matchups coming true. Good luck with the Season 10 Countdown, it's hard to decide the best episode overall.

This was an excellent cherry on top of an absolutely stacked season. Season 10 had so many good episodes. My personal favorites being Bill Cipher vs Discord, Scooby Doo vs Courage, Stitch vs Rocket Raccoon & Frieza vs Megatron. Though I was rooting for Unicron, I completely understand that Galactus had exactly what he needed to combat the transforming Robo-Satan Planet. Season 10 ended with a bang, and I can’t wait to see what Deathbattle is cooking for Season 11. Besides Tom vs Wile E Coyote, I’m thinking with the Tarot card tease, we’ll be getting another Persona fight next season, which means Joker vs Giorno is on the table for discussion.

This is gonna sound like copium, but I think the Tarot card preview hints at Joker vs Giorno. We see the Fool, Death, and World. Tarot is a big thing in P5 and Joker's own arcana is the Fool. Giorno is the son of Dio who uses The World as his stand. So while it could be a huge coincidence, my bet on season 11's premiere is Joker vs Giorno.

I will say I do question some of the fight, Unicron has also resisted being absorbed, and even when he’s been absorbed before (like in Energon) he’s been able to possess beings even with insane willpower. They also missed all of Unicron’s feats in the Japanese canon, like Energy absorption, ability to corrupt and possess Primus, resist being absorbed, and more that Analgomois energy can do. Dark Energon feats are more of the minor feats compared to that… but still also has a feat they missed - corrupting other energy. The question there becomes can Galactus resist the Power Cosmic being absorbed or being corrupted itself which they didn’t reallt go into.

Galactus' Ultimate Nullifier can completely erase conceptual beings like Unicron from an entire multiverse, as Galactus used it to erase Abraxas - a being very similar to Unicron - in the Marvel multiverse. The Nullifier erases the entire multiverse, then recreates it without the target it was aimed at existing in the recreated multiverse. So there's still hatred and evil, but Unicron no longer exists there to be sustained by it.

@@Brasc the problem is, Unicron is omniversal, existing across multiple Multiverses, able to pull across time, space, and multiverses, whereas the Ultimate Nullifier only destroys a singular Multiverse's version of a concept, not all of them. In order to destroy Unicron, he would have to destroy the concepts of Evil, Chaos, and Death, and even the Beyonder had to put a new Death into the Earth-616 Multiverse when he wiped the previous one away, in order to keep the Multiverse from destroying itself over time. So, really, Galactus cannot wipe out Unicron, only one Multiverse's version of him as tethered to Evil, Chaos, and Death... by expending a lot of energy... and then another Unicron just steps in, ad infinitum. It just doesn't work to wipe him out the one time like shown here... and that isn't even taking into effect the fact that they flashed comic pages whose issues had other feats that they utterly ignored.

I think the three tarot cards The Fool, Death, and The World, probably represent the three main protagonists of Persona 3, 4, and 5, Makoto Yuki, Yu Narukami, and Ren Amaimya or "Joker", all three are of the World arcana and their starting Personas Orepheus, Izanagi, and Arsené, are all of the Fool arcana. Maybe a Persona MC Battle Royale

Here's how I imagine Unicron's power scaling if he became a Herald of Galactus: - As a Herald of Galactus, Unicron would gain access to some of Galactus' cosmic power. This would vastly amp up his already immense power levels as one of the most powerful Transformers. - Physically, Unicron's size and strength would likely increase exponentially. He'd dwarf even his already enormous normal size. He could probably dwarf entire planets with his new form. - His psychic/metaphysical abilities like possession, mind manipulation, etc. would become unstoppable. Maybe he could influence entire star systems psychically. - His Terrorcons and drones would also get power boosts. The Terrorcons especially would rival some top-tier Transformers in raw power. Their leader Unicron would make them nigh unstoppable. - Energy projection abilities would be off the charts. Unicron already had planet-busting power, but now his basic energy beams could destroy whole solar systems. - His regenerative abilities as a cosmic being would make him basically immortal. Only Galactus himself might be able to genuinely harm Unicron at that power level. So in summary, as Galactus' Herald, Unicron would go from one of the most devastating Transformers to arguably one of the most powerful characters in either universe short of Galactus or major cosmic abstracts like Eternity. He'd be a nigh-unstoppable force of destruction.

Avgn vs Nostalgia Critic (comedian types and rooster teeth does own the still ongoing series). Death, I dunno. Maybe Arthur vs the skeleton knight from Medieval? Or Grimm vs someone. Finally Courier vs Rex (came back from being shot and buried). The World could be Dio over Heaven vs Infinity Ultron. Me. For a few reasons. 1: Darkseid was only KOed by Galactus. If the World Eater tried to kill him, a new avatar body would appear. 2: Unlike Galactus, the Gauntlet only works in its native universe. Darkseid canonically knows this thanks to another crossover and would use his boom tubes to simply take the fight somewhere else. Even if he didn't know that, he's still smart enough to likely figure that out.

I feel like an odd one out because, not going to lie, I’m not exactly huge for this episode. I feel really bad about it, because I can tell SO much effort was put into it. The breathtaking effects and visuals, how clever their poetic dialogue is, and how the scale constantly increases are all greatly appreciated aspects. However, I feel like the fight was a little.. boring? I can’t exactly put my finger on it but nothing really clicks or impresses me. I’m sure this fight is accurate to how it should be presented, especially since I don’t know these characters all that well so I can’t criticise too much, but a lot of the fight is just beams, punches and things being thrown around. It’s all a little too simplistic and somewhat mindless for me to be invested. I think the best way I can describe this episode in my eyes is that it’s entertainment comes entirely from its visual spectacle. It is certainly impressive, but it’s nothing extremely interesting.

This episode only had good visuals and that's it. It was slow and quite bland. But this is how most battles between two guys who can destroy universes go. It's much more entetaining when you have street level fights like samurai jack vs afro samurai or goro vs machamo etc. This episode was just a slightly vetter version of darkseid vs thanos. Which doesn't say much.

I love the old cosmic pattern of speech they have and that they're never really emotional throughout. Big w for Galactus, destroyer of worlds. I can only hope Unicron enjoys no longer existing. Oh, and I wish they showed it at least said out loud that part about Galactus one shotting Darkseid. Galactus and Unicron speaking in iambic pentameter was meant to pay homage to the kind of prose Stan Lee wrote in the early comics that Galactus made his debut in, similar to Silver Surfer's speech in his own episode being made to homage different aspects of said kinds of prose. The canonicity of the Darkseid feat is strange, as there are canon crossovers and apparently it was mentioned in a comic afterwards, but I haven't read it yet so i don't know. Either way, it wasn't the true form of Darkseid. However I still wish they'd have at least verbally mentioned it if they were going to have it listed anyway.

Unpopular opinion: I was actually pretty disappointed with how this episode turned out. I’m also still more than a little salty that we’re getting Tom VS Coyote, and not Tom VS Sylvester. It’s the second year in a row, that one of the few matchups I specifically didn’t want to happen won. Though, at least this time it wasn’t my actual least favorite of the lineup, only my second least favorite.
