A 4 for me today. STARE SLOPE SCONE SMOKE I stay in hard mode as long as I can; if there is a trap, I will use an eval word for the fifth guess.

Excellent Wordle solve. The S-O-E trap can be tough. I played a filler to eliminate a lot of consonants and was left with a 50/50 which I lost: AROSE, CLINT, SPOKE, SMOKE.

I try to mimic hard mode, most days, this puzzle was one of those slowly getting there-types, took 5. Water, clone, shove, spoke, smoke.
