Let me know what lights you're currently using in your studio. I just switched completely to Zhiyun lights after this video, using the B500 as my keylight, 2 X60s for fill and background lighting, B100 as a keylight for moving around and a practical light. All I have to do is switch the switch on my socket on and all the lights turn on directly. So good... If you're interested in these lights, you'll find them here: Amazon: geni.us/tNQNaly * Zhiyun Website: geni.us/Gp1GN *

I also switched all my lights to Zhiyun, but I paid for them with my own money haha. I have 2 G200's with lanterns and I hope to pick up a G300 as well but now I am looking at that 500...I hope to have my review out for my G200's shortly. I know it's so late in the game but hopefully it will still help someone see that you don't need to spend $1000 on a key light for it to work well! Thank you for the video Pascal.

The B-100 will be my new main key! It's so small and with just a cord (no power brick), cable management is much easier!

Great video, thank you Pascal. Can you tell more about how how to take off the fan sound if shooting with the B500? I am thinking of using it on a short film and I worry about the fan noise interfering with the actors voice.

Don’t use it on higher power unless you have to and if you have to, use AI voice isolation in Resolve or Adobe Podcast Ai for free to clean it up. Works wonders, I do that with my air conditioner.

I get for professional shoots there are many use cases but for talking head and small studio even my 60W I rarely crank above about 30%. Would be interesting to hear how you use these in practice (if at all) in the coming weeks/months.

I like the studio except those two background lights you have are too bright.

These lights look so janky 😅. Love their innovation but their design team is doing a little too much

I like the look aside from the blue color

@@pascalbasel it’s very interesting, I’ll say. They look like weapons from Halo lol
