i think nikon offers atm the best hybrid camera ever. The Z9 is better than the a1 in Videowork. Also the RAW possibility is just next level and you have 45mp for fotos. Yes the Z9 is really big but the z8 it is okay from the formfactor in my opinion. I disagree with the af from nikon you have writed it is not that good as sony and canon but i feel it is better than canon's particularly in videomode.

If you are just beginning I recommend getting the 60D, 70D or 80D. You can get them for about 200-500 euros on the used market and they are great!

If you ever forget that quick-plate for the gorilla pod, you can always unscrew the ball-head and screw the legs directly into the camera. Yes, I discovered this when I went on vacation without the quick-release plate. 😑

Bro,When we create a 24 fps timline sequence for a movie .which have little different fps clips like 60 fps ,120..etc for slowmotion.should I keep 24fps has timeline sequence.Does the slowmotion work great? Bro Please can you explain?

Sure, 24 is 40% of 60, so you get 40% slow motion. 20% for 120.

I didn’t test it but there could be a difference in sustained performance due to heat. I don’t think it would be big though and the new iPad M4s look like handling heat very well.

You likely underexpose or do something wrong in the color grade.

Also, never judge log straight out of camera, that always looks bad. It needs a proper color grade.

Great video! I might be biased though because, Ive back packed in Vietnam and recognised some of the places in your videos….plus, I’m a Sony shooter since 2017 (A7R3 & A7S3)…..plus I’m a Fujifilm shooter (GFX 50R). Like your comments at the end, I have the Sony when I need an all rounder, and the GFX 50R because it’s such a fun camera. Great job, many thanks!

@@pascalbasel the 50R is just such a fantastic camera*, it's awesome. I primarily use mine when I am shooting landscapes, so manual focus & manual exposure most of the time....& I adapt manual focus lenses to it. (* if you don't need state of the art AF)

Great video, thank you Pascal. Can you tell more about how how to take off the fan sound if shooting with the B500? I am thinking of using it on a short film and I worry about the fan noise interfering with the actors voice.

Don’t use it on higher power unless you have to and if you have to, use AI voice isolation in Resolve or Adobe Podcast Ai for free to clean it up. Works wonders, I do that with my air conditioner.

Hi is there a chance you can do a video about the XS20 autofocus and the XH2s since the latest updates for both? some say the XS20 became better than the XH2s and there is now many videos complaining about Fujifilm autofocus and how it is the worst compared to the other, if you have a sony camera to compare with

at the same price both with sigma 18 50 do you recommend A6700 or XS20? going to vietnam soon i Love film simulation pictures and integrated flash but i hate fujifilm autofocus; i will also do videos for myself documenting my travel but not publish them battery and overheating seems better on fuji and im a noob at picture editing

at the same price do you suggest XS20 or A6700? i like SOOC film recipes of fuji but prefer sony autofocus both photo and video paired with sigma 18 50 going to vietnam the XS20 doesnt have weather sealing, is that bad?
