The "I love you" "I know" Scene is a movie reference (star wars). This is to show that Kirito and Asana are closer now as movie references are usually his thing. This also ties into the fact that Kirito no longer gets all of Kayabas references. There is a great video on this that breakdowns sao abridged and talks about how much better than the original it is (particularly (Kirito growth)

I think the videos that talk about the ways Sao abridged is better than the original is done by the creator explanation point on KZbin. I recommend watching both of them. I would love to see a reaction to them too

I've watched SAO Abridged many times, probably at least 10. But i just realized the irony of Asuna saying she wouldn't kill herself over him immediately before doing exactly that.

As always, your reaction was delightful and I eagerly await more. One of the many things that I love about Kayaba's explanation at the end is how he unintentionally exposes Keita from episode three for being responsible for the deaths of a large number of new players after he hijacked the tutorial NPC. This abridged series is always connecting past moments and characters with the current chaos of the episode, and I love it.

Also Asuna being able to escape so many times in Alfheim is because for some reason she can push the game to the limits and break it more then anyone else.
