I just realized how much irony was in Signora's death. Her final (attempted) attack on the Shogun was the same thing she did to Venti to steal his Gnosis, but it would have failed even if she lived since the Shogun didn't even have the Gnosis. And just like how Signora left Childe unaware of the plan to take Zhongli's Gnosis, Scaramouche left her unaware that Ei's Gnosis was already taken.

When Kazuha reawakened the vision, I don't think it was because of him entirely. As the wise fox envoy said, ambition can long surpass the existence of its master. So when Kazuha was faced with the very same situation his friend faced, it awakened the resting ambition of his friend, which was to "brave the lighting's glow". I really like it, since it suits Kazuha, as a wonderer, a lot. Because when you travel, you meet all sorts of people, and these people can change you in ways you won't even notice. You carry a piece of them everywhere you go, and a part of their hopes, dreams, and ambition become your's.

I got scared when Aether was almost at the brink of a mental breakdown. Everything has been too hard on him and when he realized that he was basically left for dead by Yae (he still didn’t knew about her plan at this point) to the Shogun, he probably couldn’t swallow everything too easily.

My thought was more that it was Ei/the Raiden Shogun's oppressive aura forcing the traveler to leave the palace. As the enemy of eternity, they must die. But as the victor of the duel, they also need to be treated with respect. So she promised they would leave Tenshukaku alive, and used her power to force them from the palace and tracked them so the moment they crossed the threshold, she could strike and kill them.

@@Blank-cy3bw I believe Ningguang's situation was a bit different. Zhongli reactivated the vision she had found, but that was because he was impressed with HER ambitions. I don't think it had much to do with whatever the original owner was or did. Meanwhile Tomo's vision only came back to life for a brief moment, in which Kazuha's ambition aligned so much with Tomo's: to withstand the Musou No Hitotachi. It flickered out again immediately after that moment passed and Kazuha had reached his goal. So Ningguang got her vision because of her own ambitions, which led to Zhongli deciding to reactivate the vision as her own, while the rekindling of Tomo's vision had nothing to do with an Archon's decision. It happened purely because Kazuha's goal aligned with Tomo's strongly enough in that moment. That's just my theory though! I don't know if it was revealed yet how exactly visions are given, and how much the Archons actually have to do with it. Take it with a grain of salt :)

Zhongli contractually gave it away even after knowing what fatui did to venti, Ei literally didn't care and severed her tie with celestia. The three of them were archon already when the cataclysm happened, so they witnessed what celestia did to human who don't follow their rule. The probably know or at least has a hunch on what tsaritsa is doing too. So why the refusal to disassociate with celestia? Venti is literally a god of freedom, if he wants freedom for his people then why insist on keeping the gnosis and archon position? People of mondstadt have proven that they have means to manage and protect themselves too. What is happening with venti. What's he up to. Which side is he on. See, while I absolutely love the Inazuma Arc, I can't help but feel like, for all the awesomeness of it, the ending seem rushed on certain points. The last bit with Yae answering our questions felt a bit like an infodump from Mihoyo so they could pack up and leave. Scaramouche being a puppet, the Vision Hunt Decree being abolished more or less off-screen, the re-introduction of poor Thoma still hiding and _the entire existence of Makoto!_

Ningguang's vision wasn't given to her by the gods. She found it master-less and wanted to sell it for money but Morax saw this and thought she was resourceful or smthn so she reawakened it right as she was about to sell it.

Ningguang case is very interesting. It shows that not only a masterless vision can be chosen to a new master, but even that don't excluse this plot. for a vision to be TRULY masterless, their old master probably must not have any regrets or anything else they want/will/have ambition in this world. The remain of the spirit is very strong, like a faint spirit clinging to life

i always have had a little theory that paimon is just our imaginary friend that the traveler developed after being alone for two months,she/he went almost insane from the depression and loneliness she/he had to have a friend that they could always talk with you know,that also explains how mysterious paimon is,traveler didnt even bother thinking of a background because of how desperate she/he is for someone to talk to.

I'm guessing her death plays a point in future plot so it was needed to kill her off now to make the plot smoother, since we're probably going to have another encounter with both the balladeer and childe at some point (Since signora was the one who collected the gnosis's so far, i assume either one of those will take her place in obtaining the future ones), it'd probably be important for lore that it happened. I also heavily doubt she'll be revived, being killed is one thing, being struck with a divine blow is another, something tells me she's gone gone, and considering mihoyo; It wouldn't even surprise me.

It is completely possible to reawake a vision. That's how Ningguang has her vision. In short, her story says that she once found this dead vision, and so she thought she could strike a very good deal by selling this houseless white shell, only then did the vision reawake when she held it in her hands (the story also goes on to say that she was pissed off because she couldn't make money off of it anymore, saying "Once broken, considered sold!"). edit: changed the story to be as exact as possible

What about Mona? Her master gave her vision (unlit) to her as a teaching aid for her journey, then it lit up one day and became Mona's vision from then.

fun fact, ningguang's vision is one that she reawakened, so it's already been confirmed that visions can do that. i think the most interesting thing is that kazuha was able to wield two visions at once.

well nothing ever stopped anyone from using multiple elements they just don't have the means to do so. Look at the vishaps. Delusions are pseudovisions manmade mass-produced bootlegs of the real thing. Elemental life forms that are born one element can mutate into another look at the whopper flowers and slimes. The only "rule" about visions is that you need a god of said element to bestow it to someone first. After that everything is arbitrary.

@@Altares_V I mean, I think it's somewhere in lisa's story section that she hints that visions, alike delusions, take "something" from their wielder, it's not sure what it is but lisa speaks of a price that one must pay when wielding a vision. Perhaps the idea there is that wielding two at the same time could destroy a mortals body in a spiritual way and less of a physical way. Also doesn't Ei reference that "humans live at best 100 years as it is" when talking about the vision hunt decree? Perhaps I've missed context there but maybe she's also hinting the visions cost the wielder? But again, nothing saying it's not possible it's just theory at the end of the day.

There are previous mentions of visions being reawaken, Diona's vision was her grandmothers that suddenly responded to her, Ningguang also found a grey vision when she was much younger and intended to sell it for profit as a young entrepreneur, but it responded and became her geo vision, to her initial disappointment.

I may have been thinking of Mona and where i read it might have referred to her master as "granny" but Mona received a masterless Mondstat style vision from her master. (I theorize Mona is from Fontaine since she only recently came to Mondstat, but that's another conversation)

Yae's comment in the end where she says that the Travaler could possibly get a vision if he had a strong enough ambition makes me think that Mihoyo might make a limited 5* version of the Traveler, and finally give him them the power they deserve.

I think the Traveler will be a complete badass of a character by the end of the story even gameplay wise. We already see them do stuff that we currently can't do, like use two elements at the same time, teleport with electro hell even pull a Noelle burst as well. If I would have to guess we will have a item to focus our powers (for example: our original sword) since if you think about it all abilites they have are a form of what the Archons have which to me indicates that they can't use the elements to their full potential yet.

The Traveler was bound to eventually get a Vision. After all it had been stated before that it's their fate to ascend into godhood. And that a Vision is a requirement in order to ascend in Teyvat. On a side note: I remember that it was mentioned that Teyvat's creator is missing. So who is ruling Celestia and commanding the Archons/ the "Substainer of Heavenly Principles" aka Unknown Goddess?
