OMG could you please slow down and take a breath! With your voice being so monotone, your sentences blend into one long blah blah…sorry for being negative but you drone on so that the context of what you are saying gets lost in all the extra words that you are putting out there. Also your hand gestures, of which there are too many, pop up and down in the screen and are most distracting. Almost creates a dizzy effect. I don’t buy Creave anymore because the chemical ingredient list is too long. Loved the product, but hope to get the same results from something more natural.

One of the main reasons I use CeraVe is that it's unscented. I didn't realize that L'Oreal owned CeraVe which isn't surprising these days. I just will never understand why cosmetic companies insist on adding perfume to their skincare.

❤ Love CeraVe for my sensitive skin with rosacea. Their PM moisturizer works GREAT under make-up and their Nighttime moisturizer practically heals my skin overnight when I've used something it didn't like. I ❤ CeraVe!! It helped me transition to using Tretinoin with minimal irritation thanks to the cleansing oil, the hyaluronic acid serum and the nighttime moisturizer!!! I absolutely underestimated the brand and spend $$ on high end moisturizers which I realized didn’t work any better (and sometimes didn’t work at all) than CeraVe!! My skin loves CeraVe!❤🎉
@Beauty-and-the-Dia-betesАй бұрын
Definitely ❌ for me. I used to be a diehard for the Cerave brand until I noticed the change in quality of the products I was using. They suddenly started to be irritating instead of soothing for sensitive skin. The products also played well with Agency tretinoin before the changes. Initially I thought it was the tretinoin causing me problems and stopped using it, while continuing to use Cerave. The irritation became worse so I abandoned Cerave, and saw a significant improvement and went back to Agency. L'Oreal needs to figure out what they're doing with the brand. At this rate it won't be long before they will have to rethink whether they'll continue producing Cerave products or retire the brand altogether. The price increases could also be a factor in the drop in sales. Considering it's a drugstore brand it's not as affordable as the claims are.

CeraVe was my go-to for years. If I used something that burned or itched, I would put CeraVe moisture cream and it soothed my skin immediately - until the CeraVe started burning! Sad, but stopped using it. La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume helped my skin heal and is very soothing.

My 19 year old son uses the Cerave AM Facial Moisturising lotion with SPF 50 every morning before uni and finds that his skin is still hydrated by the time he comes home in the evening. I have also used this lotion and find it really hydrating. Recently I have had some dryness and itchy, flaky skin on my eyelids but have run out of my Cerave AM moisturiser. No other moisturiser was working to combat this issue, not even Cetraben so I gave Dr Sam’s Flawless Moisturiser a go and lo and behold, my eyelids are back to normal. I haven’t had any problems with the Cerave moisturiser that both my son and I were using so that product has my approval.

I absolutely love Cerave. It’s the only body moisturizer (I use their moisturizing cream) that has worked for smoothing my upper arms. Not only that, it absorbs quickly, but is simultaneously a rich cream that leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. It is also gentle and fragrance free. I also use their hydrating facial cleanser, which is both gentle and more effective at clearing my skin troubles than any other brand I’ve used. Leaves my skin soft, hydrated, and with less blemishes immediately. These two products I repurchase continually and never run out of!

I am a pretty serious fan of CeraVe Healing Ointment, but none of their other products. Their healing ointment is literally the only product besides pure petrolatum that I’ve been able to use on my lips for about a year now. Almost all lip balms and other healing ointments contain things that I’m allergic to or that irritate the very eczema-prone skin on and around my lips. I’d be happy to just use petrolatum, but it doesn’t have the same lasting power on my lips. It feels thinner and wears away quicker.

I liked a couple of cerave products but when I realized they were on the BDS list (as is its parent company Loreal) I haven’t repurchased. Like it’s not like their skincare was revolutionary or anything. I’d gotten into using their miceller water when my normal brand ran out & id used their retinol creams in the past. My fav with the big blue tub of basically petroleum jelly with ceramides I use as an occlusive. But literally nothing is irreplaceable. Like I have very dry very sensitive skin & nothing they made really did it for me. I only liked the big blue tub bc it had ceramides but it wasn’t even my fav occlusive. (That would be the blue jar from bloom effects but it’s just to expensive.) Almost all my American skincare has been replaced by Asian. I have a couple of serums I use occasionally from the ordinary (I like the granactive retinol 5% for when I’m taking a break from tretinoin) but for hydration nothing beats J & K beauty. Better barrier repair products as well. I know some ppl are ride or die for cerave, but I think they just don’t know there’s better alternatives at a similar price. Like if you want good skincare from America id go with cocokind and the ordinary. But outside tretinoin all my ride or dies are now Asian skincare. I love the Missha time revolution 5X for all the fermented ingredients but the insteee TW real bifida ferment ampoule is great too. Great barrier repair & hydration. Buying a toner that isn’t Asian feels crazy for me but the new fermented essence from the ordinary looks good. I think my fav right now is the Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence & I quite like the I’m from rice toner but I’ve yet to try the tirtir one or the laneige milky toner, but I’ll buy them once I’m done with my Cosrx peptide toner. (Which I like but I’m missing my milky toners/essemce.) Also really like the Missha time revolution moist. Also can’t say enough about the Joie Cellule serum. I’ts a pain to buy bc I’ve only found it on yesstyle but the ingredients and hydration for $27 when other stem sell serums are like $90+, can’t be beat. Also no cerave cream has been even half as good as the Isntree vegan yam root cream. I never stick to one moisturizer but I’m like on my 5th tube. It’s literally ride or die for me now. Like I have a whole host of serums & essence/toners I’d be happy to use instead of what I’ve been using, but nothing beats the yam root cream. Tho if I had normal skin I’d be a huge fan of the Hado Labo Tokyo gel cream. I love urea as an ingredient but it’s just not hydrating enough for me. Like I feel like ppl buy into the marketing & find something they don’t hate & stick to it. I get not everyone is as fanatical about skincare as me. But if you’re going to invest time and $ into doing a skincare routine, I’d suggest evry 6 mos to a year looking into new products and new ingredients. Like when I started I thought I really liked the products I was buying but by staying curious I found ones that were so much better. Plus our skin changes & new products are needed when those changes happen. So never be afraid to mix up your skincare. Especially if you find out the brand your using supports a genocidal colonialist apartheid state.

I really like the Cerave Hydrating Lotion. Its a very safe/mild product which actually visibly worked well for me. Although or rather because it doesnt have fancy strong actives. But I 100% understand why people buy it less. Because it just is "boring" in comparison to other brands. La Roche Posay for example has innovation like Melasyl products, they have that Mexoryl sunscreen etc. Also Loreal group puts a lot of money into promoting LRP. That isnt the case with Cerave. Their products just dont hold up commercially with todays competition. That doesnt mean their products are bad though. But also their products arent objectively the best of the best and def were overhyped. If you want the full power of ceramides you go for the 3% Theramid serum, not Cerave

❤ Would have said I love it, but I didn't realize it was L'Oreal. I'm now back to finding a cruelty-free product. As a product, however, it is marvelous. I loved it as a moisturizer for hand and bodt.

I use their foaming cleanser as second cleanse and in the morning. SA cleanser for the body 1-2 times per week. I wish they were cruelty free. May have to look for alternatives.

I started using CeraVe years ago, recommended by my dermatologist. But I had to stop using CeraVe AM moisturizer because I started having major breakouts. But I can use the PM moisturizer, no problem. Go figure.

I can’t remember offhand why I won’t buy CereVe but I think it’s the preservative they use. Parabans, maybe. Banned in Europe for decades. Your breast tissue actually absorbs the stuff.

I love CeraVe. It was recommended by a dermatologist. I am in my 50s, and I never before had a skincare routine at all. I have very sensitive skin, everything caused a reaction, so I avoided any cosmetics including makeup. In my 30s, I had AHA facials once a month, which included very mild AHA peels, and it kept my skin really gorgeous and glowing, and when I turned 40, no one believed it. But I didn't use anything else all these years, until about one year ago. Menopause! I noticed lines appearing almost overnight. I thought I better do something. CeraVe tinted sunscreen, for instance, is amazing. I always avoided sunscreen before because I have olive skin, tolerate the sun well, and because I really didn't like the feeling and look of the white coat it left on my skin. But I am very happy with CeraVe sunscreen. I also use their moisture cream and their retinol cream. That's it. I wash with Dove soap, and once or twice a week I slather my face with petroleum jelly all day. That's my skincare routine. No botox, no fillers, no surgeries.

My dermatologist recommended it 4 yrs ago, and I've used it every day since. It didn't help my roseacia, but i liked the feel of it. I have to change now because my skin is almost peeling around my mouth.

Rob, please try the Nineless 10% Niacinamide serum. I think you will love it (if you havent tried already) as we both have oily skin. This is the best niacinamide formula I’ve found (it has dethroned Ti’am Vita B3 source). Sometimes Ti’am reacts a bit funny with my azelaic acid cream and white spots/precipitate form on my face around 2 hours from application - but not with Nineless!! Nineless is super light weight and is not as moisturising/greasy as Ti’am. I also want to say a big Thank You for introducing sebum controlling powders and advising to mix with moisturiser to apply. I’m using the same concept that you mentioned with the Numbuzin powder but instead using the VT powder. Instantly mattifies the skin indeed!! This is truly game changing for this oily skin gal, especially in the sunmer and to cut the shine when layering products or products where I don’t like the finish. Just wow!!!!❤❤❤ This concept will be a lifer for me!!

Love CeraVe, especially the PM moisturizer- it plays well under makeup and keeps my allergic dry easily irritated skin calm at night with my Rx Tretinoin. Their cleansing oil takes every speck of makeup and spf off at night, it’s never stripping or drying and works in the shower on my body keeping my body from drying out and isn’t slippery. I even use it as a shampoo when my scalp is reacting to shampoo. My granddaughters have eczema and the big tub of cream heals them and prevents fresh bouts of eczema.

I used cera ve and loved it, then suddenly started reacting to it. Derm said it couldn't possibly be the products because they are gentle so kept using and kept having problems. Eventually quit cera ve (and the derm). That helped, but I struggled to find replacement. After about a year, tried cera ve again and had another reaction. So frustrated!

New user of CeraVe Moisturizing Cream purchased a ‘tub’ mid 2023 to current. I do not see a noticeable’ difference to a body lotion I had used 2/3 of my life 🤔. I will be returning to my tried and true brand. I look forward to your new format ‘Deep Drive..’ into a specific brand. You have a new subscriber 😊

I never heard any of this stuff about CeraVe. I just bought it because I was tired of paying $30-40 for mediocre moisturizers. I started using it about 10 years ago, because they don’t put fragrance in it. All of the sudden it almost doubled in price. I had no idea why. 😆

I love the CeraVe original moisturizer, healing ointment and especially vitamin c serum. It's 10% ascorbic acid and a great deal. I also like some of their cleansers. It's a great brand. I use other brands like Timeless, Naturium, The Ordinary, CosRx for most treatments, but CeraVe is definitely better than Aquaphor or Eucerin for basics.

Ive used Cerave Moisturizing Lotion as a face moisturizer for years, absolutely love it. I took a break to use the Torriden moisturizer and once it finished decided to start on the bottle of Cerave I still had in the cupboard unopened. Ive found the results to be great after the Torriden. I think one of the big issues with Cerave is that when it launched initially it was advertised as a reasonably priced moisturizer for all. Then they became super popular and as is the way, the price increased with it becoming a little more expensive each year. Ive heard of the reformulation issues. There is also the issue that Cerave sold in the US is differently formulated to the one in the UK, then if you live in Asia they have the one from China. The one made in china has far less percentage of ceramides in it! I was quite surprised when I checked the Ingredients list. Will I still use Cerave? Absolutely, as long as I can get the one from either UK or US online. Great video Rob, thank you x

Long time user of Cerave AM and PM. It’s very effective on my skin. Good price point. I use La Roche Posay sun block and is very good, but expensive. It’s all about balance when it comes to price.

❌ I started my skincare journey with cerave and I quickly realised that other brands where offering so much more at the same or (at times) lower price point. But in the end I took the decision to support more independent brands and not those that are parts of multinational corporations. That is the main reason I moved away from Deciem as well

❤ i recently noticed my skin was just so so dry...most likely it was a new toner i bought when my laneige ran out. I needed something to fix it quick...cerave it was! It's usually lying in a corner as backup when I can't pin down what's annoying my skin.

I have so many allergies I have to be very careful. Even when I go to a spa for a massage I have to take my 100% sesame seed oil, because most massage oils contain ingredients I am allergic to and will cause swelling and a rash wherever it is applied. CeraVe works for me.

I think it is simple. There is more competition now than there was 5-7 years ago with fragrance free quality products. I did not realize that Roche Posey was part of the L'Oreal product line. I have shifted more to Roche Posee because their products work better. Ceravae is still a top brand in the US. They offer decent products at good price points.

In my personal trial & error experiences, Ive found myself settling on La Roche Posay for my moisturizers and heavy duty sunscreen (UVMune 400). I do really like the Cerave PM moisturizer, however. It’s my favorite light-weight moisturizer. Their hydrating cleanser is a go-to as well.
