Serious thought here… With the new means of immediate communication, why do we need a House of Representatives? Why don’t we all just vote on bills ourselves? Still have a senate, two per state. Still be split up into house districts (CA, NY, TX get more than SD, WY, etc), but we all just vote on in a district by district basis. Direct democracy on national bills. Why not?

In the uk my parents are watching gb news instead of mainstream as they are fed up with the lies. Something they hadn't done last year. The older ones are waking up!

The government should pass a law that says all news reporters must tell the truth, and must tell who they got the information to report any story they put out, if they lie they should be accountable for it.

If caught lying they need to every hour for a month repeat that they gave misinformation every hour on that channel. So if they have lots of lies, they won't have time to report anything but let it known their lies.

I would respect journalist if they would verify their sources like they used to. Back in the day you didn’t hear things on TV unless they were verified by three separate sources.
