I lived in Chicago in the 70s. There was no cable and everything was over the air. All 3 main stream national channels , CBS, NBC and ABC had top notch correspondents and news presenters. People you could trust blindly. ZERO bias, pure news. Even the purely local WGN did an excellent job and covered the local issues very well. Trump would do well to keep the current crop of woke channels out of the WH and admit only non woke foreign media and the non woke podcasters.
