Conor is a slippery as they get. Was this his planned excit route from the ufc. Whichever way he leaves, if would of always been big news. Better leave with an injury rather than a loss and damage to his reputation and brand. His brand has to live beyond ufc and remaining fighting is a threat to his brand and image. For the naive who think this isn't possible in the real world of strategy and business . This is a win/win interms of promoting himself for future filming jobs and whatever else he's got his fingers. At the end of the day, he dropped footage showing he's still in shape, don't international promotion of himself, these days bad news is good news, and historically is proven Conor can easily survive bad news about him, AND noone can say HE LOST THE FIGHT!
