Dragonball Z Burst limit, while a great game in its own right, was never known for being much of a singleplayer experience. Thats why after only a few videos we have come to the end of the games story mode offerings with special chapters about both Bardock and Broly!

If you're confused Doto, the ending was Goku getting back up and transforming into SSJ2 which clearly indicated that if they made a sequel, they were gonna get into Buu Saga stuff which sadly never happened.

It’s nostalgia. A few cool cutscenes and ONE 10/10 fight (Goku vs. Frieza) doesn’t make up for a budget release with mid combat that doesn’t even go past the Cell Saga.

I remember this being the last game I ever actually pre-ordered and I was always stumped as to why they chose to release this and Infinite World at the same time. With Burst Limit being the first "Next gen DBZ game" at the time, of course I went with it over Infinite World which looking back I wish I went the opposite because Infinite World was like the love letter finale to the Budokai series while Burst Limit was basically an unfinished game that Bandai Namco rushed hence why the game is missing a lot of major battles/moments and features a cutscene of SSJ2 Goku despite him not being playable in the game. Sucks because you can tell Dimps had much more planned for this game but had to cut it short to make the release deadline

For real. It wasn't until Cell that it didn't work, as it cut off Frieza's tail the previous major villain. But literally everyone prior he could have killed with a little planning.

​@@ChaoticGoodPeasant23 it is NOT such a great technique. You really need to sneak the enemy for it to work. Goku made a great showcase of that when Frieza used his destructo disks, Goku was simply disappointed. It is really slow and easy to avoid.

Funny story: I was watching DBZ for the first time through DBZ Kai and playing this game at the same time, so when they didnt include the Buu saga in the game nor the Nickelodeon Kai airing I just assumed the entire series ended after the Cell saga. it wasn't until after I graduated high school that I heard the name Buu and was like who the hell is that lmao
