OK here's a quick few tips for doto replay missions for dragon balls and exp,you can get multiple copies of z items if you replay the stages that gave them to you. You can also buy items from king Kai and fuse certain z items to get stronger ones. If your not sure which ones to use look up z items fuse list for budakai 2 on the ps2 and lastly check your z items because you have tons of them that your not using doto.

Actual tip: There is a path you can take through the saiyan Saga's episodes that garuntees dragon balls. You can use this to farm an item called 18's kiss from shenron. This item boosts ALL STATS by 5 and stacks. The best part is that you dont need to do a single fight to farm them

DOTO PLEASE READ THIS: (PS constroller) When you kick him up by holding up+trianlge, after you press X to jump up to him, press triangle before spamming square. Pressing triangle does a gut punch which stuns him. you can spam square after this but don't Instead grab him which sends him flying and combo a special move with that or you can simple do a special move right after the stun. One of the only combos I remember when I used to play these games as a kid. Cheers!

Honestly, I prefer doto use very minimal boosting items, it's giving him the difficulty he needs to make banger content. A lot of folks want to help by telling Doto to use his z-boosts and stuff, but properly leveled Doto isn't giving us hilarious moments like 11:07, or his godlike vegeta runs at 20:30 and 31:26. This series has been one of my favorites Doto! Also, you tech grabs in this game by timing your block with the grab hitbox, think of SF parry. (disclaimer, couldn't find video proof, good luck!)

A few things to keep in mind: 1. Goku ss1 and 2 are bad in BT2😢: on punish combo some characters can just block him. 2. Use the dash+square+triangle+square, does lots of damage in this game‼️❗️ 3. Spam ki blasts by just mashing triangle, you have options but you forget about them mid fight 💀 Also please use L1 + O more often for explosive waves and wild sense!! It helps a lot to get the CPU out of it's comfort zone, so use it! Edit: Explosive wave can be triggered even when you are eating his combos up so consider that too

Two tips: After kicking enemies into the air, dont keep pressing rectangle. End the combo with triangle. It will knock them to the ground and force them to lose sight of you, giving you a tiny window to charge energy. Second; go into ultimate z and do duo fights. Select the same character twice and you'll level up like crazy!
