I’m a silent watcher, I find comfort in your Vlogs and love the podcast. I’m a 29yo single female and I strive to have the family unit Joel and Sarah have created. Touching on the subject of kids progress, I don’t have kids but from the outside looking in I feel like Sophie, Chloe and Maddison are super intelligent for their ages, I think having a bigger family gives the little ones an advantage like yous said everyone goes at their own pace and those girls are thriving. ❤

thankyou so much talking so openly and honestly about the parenting struggles. i’m not a parent myself but i have been the child that struggled massively with sleep. i have adhd and asd and every night spent hours and hours crying, getting distracted, getting out of bed etc and couldn’t sleep without my mums company, audio books, music, singing etc etc. it’s so tough. it’s not spoken about much and when it is it’s so frowned upon. years later i still struggle with sleep but i’m an adult so don’t require my mum, just medication 😅 but looking back i realised how tough it truly must’ve been for my family and i think if more parents were open and honest it may have helped my mum feel less alone. you’re both absolutely incredible parents… never delete these eps and i’ll come back in a few years for parenting advice 🤣🤣

I’m fully with you on the children being different! Both my children weened the same way, parented the same way, one eats everything, the other will only eat about 5 items of food and I’d super fussy over brand / presentation etc…. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Loved this podcast episode so much!!! 🥺🥹😂😍 my daughter is nearly 2 and a half and so is only a few months younger than maddie, and still has a dummy, bottle and haven’t done potty training just yet, and you both are just such amazing parents and I’m so grateful for you sharing your advice, words of support and comfort, especially Sarah what you said about trying not to compare yourself or feeling like a failure because I often do, and it’s so true about having 1 child and it’s your first, and your mum friends being the same, because you do compare and feel bad if your child isn’t doing what they’re doing, and yet you’re absolutely right, every child is different and has different needs and grows in their own time, so thank you so much for reminding me / us of that and being so supportive and encouraging for other parents out there 🥺🥺🥺🥹🥹🥹 we love you!! 💖💖💖

I spoke to someone recently with identical twins, so raised the same and even had the same dna. I slept, ate well, off the dummy, outgoing, loud and their twin was the exact opposite. As you say they’re individual 🖤

I was like Chloe when I was little I had to have someone lay with me as well and so does my brother the same age as Chloe but one day my mom thought to play me some rain music and it has helped so much it just calms me down so you could use that but you don’t have to + i love your family ❤❤❤❤

Both my two kids loved their dummies. I was so worried. But my little girl smashed it as well but she refused dummy fairy and she said it was going too the baby princess 😂😂 and then my little boy told me his dummies were for baby dinosaurs. Definitely wity you on putting them outsidr the door haha.

Dilemma - I’ve been there and my advice is to ignore it. They won’t be able to copy your partner, buying a house, having a baby etc so as you get older it won’t matter as much☺️
