My little one with ADHD struggles with bed time - we moved bedtime slightly later than his siblings (so tapping etc… doesn’t disturb the others! We then allow him to make himself comfy (his room looks like a disco with all the lights and sound players he has on) but that’s how he relaxes!!!

i don’t know if you read comments but talking about bedtimes with chloe it reminded me of myself when i was younger. i was diagnosed with asd at 17 which was very late bc i am high functioning as it’s a spectrum and when i was little no one in a million years would think it was autism. just wanted to put a comment here if you read them as as a child i was “naughty” i would be so hyper to regulate myself to then having big meltdowns i was very very clingy as a child and would be scared to sleep alone 💗some of my traits remind me of chloe when i was younger (not saying this is the case but i wish i was diagnosed when i was little) its such a spectrum and it went un noticed to how many friends i had and how hyperactive i was as a child. i know sophie has special needs with higher support but high functioning lower support need autism is very real. :)) again you know your child best and i don’t want to assume anything but wish someone noticed when i was younger ❤lots of love xx

I haven’t finished watching yet but bedtime tips - weighted blanket, ear defenders and/or fidget toy if needed. The upside down thing is sensory and sometimes pressure can help with that. Spoken as a mum of two who’s exhausted almost everything out there lol. X

Try this with Chloe Get a sticker chart and every night she goes to bed and she does it without crying and by the end of the week if she has like 5 or more stickers she gets a toy x Hope it works ❤

i brought a coat from Joel’s dad and i’m normally an L/XL in des vu clothes so was shocked when he got me to try an XS coat and it fit perfectly 😍

I don't know if this would help, but maybe you could make make sensory room or corner for both Sophie and chloe so that can relax before bedtime, maybe add sensory toys, or get chloe a weighted blanket, I have a hard time switch off at night as my mind runs a lot, and I know the weighted blanket calms me down

To make the sample sale plus meet and greet work so you can chat to everyone while they shop and then do a meet and greet, you could give a ticket for a meet and greet the day after the sale at the tills as people pay and this way you could enjoy seeing people shop and they still get the meet and greet. It would just be a 2 day thing instead of 1.

My son is 2 but like Chloe. Non stop all day long everyday. Takes him time to settle. I give him a couple of little toys/books and he does that until he’s ready. Some times 15min, sometimes 1h but takes away that pressure to go straight to sleep. Give him kiss and cuddle but then if he gets up just straight to bed, say night night and come away.

My daughter also chloe was exactly the same. I did the whole laying down with her, sitting in the corner of the room and all sorts of things to get her to sleep. It was the most frustrating time. But it does get better shes still not the best but shes 14 now so i leave her to it. There was a massive turn around once she got her own room as she had no one to wind up or keep awake. Shes has a referral for adhd so you could be onto something there. My chloe has always been the wild child compared to her brother. Maybe its a chloe thing😂

I’m not an expert whatsoever, I just work in an SEMH school and have a few kids like Chloe….it may be worth seeing an occupational therapist for her. It sounds like she’s under responsive to sensory input and is therefore sensory seeking. Our OT has really helped us towards meeting the needs of these children

My daughter is nerodivers and sounds axectly like chloe . Bedtime can be a real trigger espesialy for nerodivers children it can cause anxity butt they cant tell you and it dosnt always show in how you think anxity presents . There is resarch that being upside down help people with anxity and adhd so this is probs why she is always upside down ❤ sorry if you already know this sont want to come across as rude
