This game truly defined the "massively-multiplayer" better than any other MMORPG out there at the time! (Yes, even WoW) Good old RO I'll always remember it, I have so many good and bad memories from it :) It shall forever live in our hearts, I bet many RO veterans feel the same.

After playing so much MMORPG's and met so much people, i still say: RO was simply the best. Everytime i watch this Video i remember my old guild (Stift-con) on EuRo Chaos, the fun we had, the looooooooooooooooooong Parties at Clock Tower UG 4 and how it all ended with the Message "The Server will be shutdown forever." So much Emotions in such an old game *sigh*

Galein Musica, lvl 9x Whitesmith, here. I left EuRo before the end of the server and, by watching this video a few years later, i'm glad for this. That very moment must have been very hard for those who stayed till the end and I really get the feelings, even now in 2014. Damn, I got dust in my eyes... All of this seems so far away and yet so close in my heart. I'd never forget the memories I had with all the beautiful people that I met. I write people and not players, and I'm sure that everyone who played that game would understand the difference. Ro had something that most mmorpgs don't have anymore. Never have I spent so much time speaking with people that in this game, because it was not only about getting the best character, nor purchasing the best items. This was about connecting with people (sry, Nokia.), creating links with others. I learned so much things while playing that game and, with the time, I now realize that I opened myself to others thanks to Ragnarok. Anyway, I'd like to thanks the host for the video. I missed that moment, but watching it now (damn piano song) is something hard to describe. It involves so much differents feelings... Thanks. Well, same feelings here. I stopped playing this game around 2008. And still I feel nostalgic when I hear the sound effects or BGM. Those were some really good times and it was a thing that helped me grow up a lot. Up to this day I kinda miss the feeling of so many people just sitting around different spots, talking to each other. This game was all about community. And this is what most of todays game creators tend to forget. Sadly.

I've played ragnarok online since 2007 until 2014 (7 years in total). Well this MMORPG have taught me a lot of things about life, friendship, teamwork, relationship and nah it's too many for me to list it out here. Ragnarok Online is where I make alot of online friends. It's just too many of them and we're still keep in touch thanks to social network. I love this game so much. Peace.

I still remember the login screen music, my first MMO. Back then all this MMO stuff was new to me and I was fascinated. Farming blue herbs, with a Thief I made for this purpose, at the huge tree in the forest south-west of Prontera, sewer-bashing and caves at low levels, without any fancy quests or guidance, only the community to help. Even experienced my first childish love story back there, and yes, I was heartbroken in the end! I didn't ask her to return the Elven Ears I farmed for her hours on end in the mines as birthday present, we went apart on good terms. :) Then Orcs, Magma Dungeon and at some point it actually became too grindy, also my guild was full of drama queens with too many RL issues and pulled down the whole mood. I participated in some WoE events of a different guild I joined and then called it quits. Good times back then, tried some other server time a year ago or so, it's obviously not the same. I'll keep the fond memories of it though, it sure showed me how strong a game can be, even with the graphical limitations it had!

i swear i did the same thing i used to collect thos blue herbs since i was in grade 3 and now i am at grade 10 i played on Ragnarok Online Middle East it closed like when i was on the 7th grade i think but i do realy miss this game , when i started one of thr most expensive thing in the game was the green apple i can't realy remember its name but when i was fighting the porings one of them dropped it i was so happy that ill get 30K Zeny "it was a realy huge number back in the days" so i started clicking on it but there was a white grasshopper that came and tooked it from me i tried to kill it but i couldn't cause it was pretty strong for me so i died 2 many times but i still can't get it so i went back fighting porings XD , old days i can't forget these moments , and i still remember my guild members. it was a pretty cool game and for me it is still a cool game :') .

Yeah, there were always those special drop moments. I think it's the "Unripe Apple" to catch/tame Porings as pet. The mixed power mobs on a map were always a thing, you could kill most, but there was always one type that was way too strong. I think an Angeling boss surprise-killed me once. :p I forgot about most people except my crush and 2 guild members. I'm actually still in contact with one of the former guild members, funnily he's bisexual and was interested in me back then. Teenager years combined with MMOs result in weird stuff. x) Anyway, there's other games to come, but none of them so far stuck (WoW for a while, Wildstar not so much). Ragnarok was just simple enough, visually and gameplay-wise, while still being challenging and fun. We will see! Eh, your English is fine. Maybe use some more punctuation (. , etc.). :P (And thanks for taking your time to read it!)

The current servers (or back when I checked) were partly crowded with TONS of merchants, but still barely any guidance, like back in the days. I think they do have quests now, but didn't bother to try. Checking out your playlists now...let's see. ;)

I miss my RO days so much. Life was so simple back then, nothing to worry about, no anxiety, just the beautiful world of RO. Now there is a void that nothing can fill. Sadly RO isn't the same as it was back then once you grow up.

Ragnarok was the very first game that got me so hooked up, I'd skip classes just to finish a job quest. Ragnarok is so immersive that in a single day, you'd have tons of friends, tons of reasons to hang out rather than do what you must do and this was the first game that taught me that everything is better when you have buddies always on your side. I miss playing you RO...Maybe someday, I'll play again, start from scratch.

I was really really shocked today when I have heard about this news. Though it was almost 3 months now. When I saw the video myself I was teary eyed. I was really really touched that Euro RO has finally ended. Ragnarok Online was my very first Online Game way back 2004. I come from pRO and I hope that we will not experience the same like Euro RO did. I am so grateful that we experienced the 3rd job month ago. Unfortunately, Euro RO has ended without experiencing it.
