I think gouken is very stylish, but i would say most of his setup to be effective has to be preemptive and u have to risk 1 bar of the super meter for most of them. Besides, the reset at corner is not so "tight" and experienced player can escape from them at ease. Yet, i enjoy this video so much man!!!

I never knew Gouken took lessons from the MvC universe! This was incredible and showed off some Gouken tech/shenannigans I've never seen. +Jasky Kan The cr short version of the reset is pretty "widely" used by Gouken players; it can typically connect because it low-profiles... but I agree with the rest. Though, Veloc1raptor has done well with him, and he was even played by Infiltration occasionally. I think JWong used him in AE2012 or something too.

This is one of my favourite Street Fighter videos on YT. MessiOldSnake you have a great Gouken! I love watching people with real skill with not necessarily a mainstream or regarded as a "top tier" character doing great combo's. Yes it is a pity we are most probably not likely to see Gouken in SFV, but you certainly have made a great tribute vid to a really interesting character as Gouken was. *claps hands*

Old man Gouken was a cool character, sadly he was not to popular. I fear he won't make it in SF V's DLC list. SFV is not exactly fantastic so maybe the old man should be remembered the way he was in SF 4.

Wow! De todos los Goukens que yo he visto no he presenciado ninguno como el tuyo. En vez del típico "zoner" Gouken, tu Gouken es más "pressure" y "mixups-oriented". Es como un vortex Gouken. Tremendos mixups, resets y los FADC combos "on-point". Como Gouken player que soy, me hubiese gustado verte o ver a alguien usar a Gouken de está forma en torneos del Capcom Pro Tour. Gouken en mi opinión es mas high tier de lo que muchos creen. No te preocupes amigo, estoy casi seguro de que Capcom nos va a traer al viejito de vuelta en futuros DLCs de SFV.

Absolutely awesome tribute video. The only thing I didn't like was how much he was using the double Ultra but it doesn't matter he was still kicking ass constantly. There was just pretty much every time if he would have picked one or the other he would have killed even faster but I guess that would have been easy and boring for him LOL

Muy buenos combos, ya quisiera yo poder tener una ejecución tan buena. Pero muchos de esos combos son mas para show, no vale mucho la pena perder tantos EXs y mas con gouken... menos golpes mas dano. Tambien hay que decir que los buenos jugadores con alto BP y PP not se dejan hacer tantos resets como estos que tiene tan bajo BP PP.
