I've heard stories of new developers struggling to use the Halo Infinite Engine (Slipspace) so the team pivoted to Unreal 5 for the next game

I collect Gunpla, and somehow, I can get more out of one model (say, the High Grade GM Spartan) at $26 than I do for any cosmetic pack in the game, no matter if its £20 or otherwise. Games as a service is a scam, and online games are barely worth playing unless you look at extreme stand-out titles like Armored Core VI. Personally my favourite game of 2023 for all the right reasons.

Well, see you in 5 years when we get Halo 6 made in UE5 and it will probably be horrid at launch again thanks to the abysmal management at Xbox/Microsoft. This industry has been ruined by business execs chasing infinite profit. The only devs I trust nowadays are indies, AAs and a few AAA studios like Fromsoft who still focus on good games rather than the corporate bottom line.

Halo Infinite died in it's first opening season, releasing it when they did was a huge mistake. It was half a game, absurdly buggy, and embarrassingly monetized. You could hardly say Halo infinite was ever really alive.

They made their bank off the title. Now they are cutting their losses and taking that profit they made on a broken ass title and working on what will likely be the next shitty plug in the Halo franchise of 343.

If you've never played Halo Infinite then there's certainly enough content to keep you happy for a few months at this stage, it's just boring for the people who've had the game installed for 2+ years already

i still dont think theres much to infinite, no griftball, needs a complete rebalance, vehicles are still made of paper, networking has been terrible since season 3
