@@georgerice6488 7.2k on a finale on a 150k channel is massive. Viewership generally falls off a cliff within 3 or 4 episodes. The first episode did 26k views, to retain 1/4 of the initial audience (1/20th of the entire channel audience) to the end is a resounding success.

For that final purple clue, it helps to remember they sure love reusing words in this game since this one keeps popping up for a long-ish word. The FACTS→CAR walks you through the steps of multiple clues in a single structure. And I'm guessing the !!! means it's a less common word which, naturally, you got straight away (I tried Nepobaby first). Most importantly... don't sell yourself short. You're damn clever.

All puzzle block answers must be existing dictionary word. "!!!" means your first transformation doesn't make valid word, so you must use second transformation immediately. So "Open" reverses to "Nepo" (which is not a dictionary word) and add letters to "Nepotism". In similar block structure, but with no "!!!" you have "Grub" (insect) that reverses to "Burg" (town) and add letters to "Burger" (food).

The sideways FACTS -> CAR one is, I believe, using the chaining of all the colors in the longest chain we've yet seen (5 blocks!). It just decided to be merciful by allowing us to type and check intermediary steps.

there's a few rooms on the roof of level one which might be worth doing; one or two easy-to-find ones and one near-impossible-to-find one. you might also want to find champion's rest; you'll know it when you see it, it says "Champion's Rest" there most of the rest of level 1 is obnoxious scavenger hunts. One exception is the yellow teleport rooms puzzle; it's very difficult, and it's annoying to figure out and execute the solution even if you already know what you need to do. i was very happy when i finally figured that one out, but that was like 20% puzzle satisfaction and 80% "i'm free! i'm finally free!" sort of way

(Also the Facts -> Car puzzle was a giant chain, you basically had to apply mutiple rules in sequence and the back was a way to let you do it one step at a time, Facts -> Acts -> Axe -> Axle -> Axles -> Car) BTW but beaing level 1 unlocks roof access. why dont you take a look around to admire the map from above.

Oh, also; If you're itching for an extra challenge from level 1, go back to yellow or jump off the roof to see the puzzles hidden across the roof. Do not forget to check behind the painting at the top this time though.

@@PlatinumTuna It's the one downside of this puzzle game, it has an amazing non-Euclidian exploration mechanic but finding new locations opening in old ones and coming back to ones you haven't completed yet is such a chore, it should have a kind of map showing connections between areas and indicate where you still have things to do, it would avoid running around like a headless chicken half the time ^^'

Congrats for finishing an awesome series! You did great :) It's great to watch people work things out in puzzle games for the first time. I really had to check myself to not give any hints in spoilers. You could certainly get some hints or guidance on what you missed and do an epilogue of level 1, if you don't want to commit to level 2! There's also a Library side level that would make a good standalone episode or two. Level 2 has some nice rooms, but overall is a whole step up in difficulty for trying to do it alone.

If that is the answer to purple then that is a really bad one. Like you are just replacing most of word at that point so it could have been pretty much anything. Like IDK how you would get that one without the first letter without just getting really lucky.

I have been loving the series so much that I bought the game! 24:06 That one is so difficult! I had to get the first letter, then I looked up "11 letter words starting with M and ending in ...usted." Maltrusted is kinda close. Rhyme with usetd, not trusted. ;) *edit* Oh yeah, one area you have not finished it the area with the big blue numbers. I can't remember how, but something unlocks and there is another section there. I think a painting may have been involved?

I think there’s something about the prompts on sets-of-multiple-blocks only get additional requirements from the blocks they’re immediately touching? Take the case of “songwriter -> singsong”: From “songwriter” we know the shared blue is “add letters to the word song”, because that’s the rule that when combined with “add letters to writer” gives us “songwriter”. “Singsong” doesn’t feel like THAT big of a leap from “remove letters from singed” combined with “add letters to song”. But it only feels fair if you assume that each individual block has its own rule & combining rules doesn’t chain, which I don’t think the game has explicitly taught. Hard logic to pick out just in a room that’s also like “hey find me 6 anagrams of 8-10 letter words with no extra hints”.

Chaining of blocks above/below, beside, and behind have all been established at various times. This is like the final question on the exam: see if you can put it all together to figure out something complicated.
