The spreadsheet itself is doing more bad than good, for example theres only one orange bottom in level 1 as far as i know, and because he was never thaught orange bottom he first dismissed it, and later bruteforced it with the hint function. But if hed realize that every block has two rules that mix together to form the solution (bottom = meaning, orange = cypher), hed solve many things so much quicker... ontop of him not updating the spreadsheet and getting confused again the next time he finds a difficult block.

Olexa for top puzzles you should use the sounds as letters so e.g. knife has 3 sounds n-i-f this is how the puzzles work in the game. if we use the knife example as a yellow top we can make it into a f-i-n which we can turn back to the word "fine"

Holy crap, what an episode! This game almost feels endless in the same way animal well did, where I just know there's still layers of secrets we have been seeing but not understanding this entire time. So cool to see you figure out the numbers, find more rooms, and kinda open the game up. It used to all feel a bit disconnected, and that is changing. The spot where you jumped off the map, it almost looked like you're supposed to jump off there, and I swear I saw a tiny island in the distance. Maybe if you dropped perfectly straight you could reach something there? Would be cool to explore that a bit more. Is your render distance turned all the way up? I feel like that might help when you're standing at the top of the map. So pumped for more Lingo vids, thanks a million for not ending the series yet!

God the view to like ratio on these vids are absurd. Also speaking from experience, very few customs are actually worth playing if you do actually decide to do that for Olexa-mas. The yellow ones are doable. The egg one is kinda rude, if it is what I think. But also funny. What gives it away though, is that it's two words. And the second word has 4 letters. For water, think of something that one might have at home. Just guessing though. Fore and Aft are the front and rear of a ship. PS: flip the "1534" on their head, like you're viewing them from inside the building.

Olexa, after you do the yellow, I would reccomend looking at all corners of the roof of the map. If you've given up, here's a hint for the dotted smile rooms: They are one-way teleports which work when you stand under the yellow patches. Only one of the two same dotted rooms teleport you. You have to go through them 1-6 in order without using the staircase (you can still use paintings).

I can not describe how painful it is to keep getting the color and height patterns of blocks wrong. Top will almost always deal with sound, middle will deal with the world, bottom is to do with the meaning. For red you keep saying "word within a word" when it's actually just "remove 1 or more (letters/sound)." For purples it's "add or remove 1 or more."

You can raise the drawdistance to maximum (i dont think your pc will suffer at all), then the whole map is visible from the tower. And yes theres a quicker way to the top, in the entrance room move through the welcome back section along the size small/big to the end, thats the topfloor connection. And no, its not only the two rooftop rooms, you literally walked ontop of the entrance of another section, just one step to the side. :)

One spot you're getting tripped up is the top-level puzzles. For example, top yellow is not rearrange the letter then sound it out. It's rearranging the *sounds* themselves. Think back to how "gel" turned to "ledge", not "leg". Same for the top reds: you need to remove some of the *sounds* to find a new word. Another way of thinking about it is converting the word to the phonetic alphabet and then rearranging that. Hope this helps!! Keep up the great series

There's another number not in the room, getting it opens a shortcut to the number room with a painting that takes you to the last 3 puzzles of it. "1534" is not correct as the 3 and 4 are backwards. It's more likely saying "1234" and you're looking at it from the back side. The painting with "3" near "the end" looks a lot like those floating boxes of random colors Eggs can be scrambled. Pools of water can be whirled. I have no idea about Fir. I thought it would've been earth (irf), fiery (fri), but seeing that r start is throwing me for a loop. As to the one-way teleports: if there's a smiley face, it will teleport you. The number of dots tells you where you'll teleport to. There's at least one location that requires you take the teleport before it becomes accessible from the other rooms. I suspect there's something special for teleporting through all of the teleporters in order, because going through the 1-dot changes your UI while none of the other ones do that.

I've loved your lingo series. Now you've asked for help and I think I've only got two answers and possibly something you've overlooked. In the yellow room on the roof. You've tried to link mixed together water with other elements. But if you simply spin water you get a whirlpool. For the eggs you were thinking of mixing them in a bowl to get mayo. but if you mixed them in a pan, you would get scrambled eggs. Now I have caught a glimpse of something when you were running through the yellow smiley face room with the four pictures, the smiley face, the panda, something else. In the room that you drop back down to the blue section I could swear that I see a staircase heading up from that room. Am I just seeing a glitch or is it a room you've done, and I've forgotten? I don't know but if you're looking for places you've not been you should try the blue section.

Reminder because it seems you forgot after realizing it: only top white is "homophone" (same+sound). For the other colors, it just does its usual thing on the sounds directly. For example, top red would be subtract+sound, removing part of the sound (often either in the middle or from both ends)

Especially when he feels stuck on a puzzle, he falls back to using the letters, not the sounds. I'll often even write down the phonemes to help me to figure those out in a way where I can see it.

So top appears to be sounds only. Ignoring the letters. So yellow top is the recombination of the sounds. For ROTS (rr ah te ss) I think it’s STAR = ss te ah rr . STAR also being an answer that is often repeated. For FIR (ff eh rr) I think the word is ROUGH (rr eh ff). It’s kind of a tough translation on this one because of the short word. It’s almost only two sounds, but you can maybe interpret the middle sound as something between an “eh” and an “uh” sound. You’re on the right track with these but I see your brain getting distracted by the letters and the various sounds those letters can make rather than the sounds in the word on the clue.

If you're looking for custom map suggestions for later, my main pick is Liduongo, i think its the highest quality map we have. Maybe Personal Project, but that one's really puzzle dense Also, now that you've gotten through most of L1, it's a good time to take another look at your color cheat sheet and check and see what you know. What does each color mean? What does each height mean? Does red really mean "inside of" or is it something else?

I noticed, for instance, that your answers for "Fir" were using the sound of i as in "eye" or "fire", and for "Rots" you were using the sound for o in "boat" (or sometimes oo like root), when it's actually an "ah" sound.

For some of these, especially the yellow and red tops you're thinking about them wrong. You're trying to use the letters when you should be using the sounds.
