Great vid bro 💪 As far as your channel goes, it really comes down to why you do KZbin. You’ve said in the past and in this video you got a lot of love and passion for MKT and it’s the reason you started making vids. So yea your audience may or may not want mktour videos but who really cares? If you enjoy it, keep making them. The game is still gonna be fresh enough to be playable and make more than enough content on. There’s no “risk” in making new tour videos, yea your views may not be as high on those videos as they used to be if people leave the community or lose interest in the game’s new formatting, but you’re not even an MKT KZbinr, you’re a Mario kart KZbinr. So yea your tour vids may not perform “the best” or as well as they have in the past, but you got so much other content to offer on you’re channel that it’s not gonna hurt your channel at all to still throw tour vids up. You’re not losing any money either, if anything you’ll still generate some revenue from those vids, again, even if it’s not as much as you used to. Time is gonna be the one thing you should consider, as obvi those vids are gonna only impact the resource of time. But if you’re using your time on something you enjoy (tour videos), then you’re only taking dubs. Much respect gang keep up the grind!!! 🏆🤞

I started playing this game back in September 2022, towards the end of the Bowser Tour before its 3rd anniversary, upon hearing that they were finally getting rid of the gacha system. I automatically thought this was a very fun game, and it quickly became one of my most played mobile games. I’m honestly happy, because I missed out on the first 3 years of the game’s life, and now I might get to experience tracks I might’ve never played before, and possibly even unlock characters I’ve always wanted to obtain, but never could.

I only started playing during the end of the Pipe Tour after all the city tracks I wanted to see in 8 Deluxe first came out and I was pleasantly surprised on what I slept on for the last 4 years. I only intend to play the game until the end of the year but I feel really bad for y’all veteran players because I know the game must’ve meant a lot to y’all and tbh you guys are also one of the most dedicated and compassionate fanbases I’ve seen of any game really despite putting up with the heat of everyone else that hate on Tour. It’s definitely undeserved but here’s hoping the game will continue to last as long as it can despite the huge loss this morning!

Still shocked it's on its way out. Though, hopefully it doesn't actually go away forever. I don't know, I do feel like it has the potential to loop through every single course more than once for several years. Even in like, the 2030s it could still go on and be playable and still have all these tracks and drivers, karts, and gliders available. I'll always still enjoy playing all the tracks and maxing out my best items for years to come.

I’ve watched your videos for years dude and I would say do what you are invested and interested in. Many content creators have pivoted when the pipes went by the way side and now this change. There is mileage in this for you if you decide to do ranked videos or even live multiplayer events, I’d still watch for sure. As you said this decision should rest with you and I say follow your heart man 👍🏻

For me with this change coming, I've made up my mind about what I'll do. I'll still make MKT content, but not as much as I had before. I've been wanting to make other kinds of videos too. I may go more into the Splatoon 3 community, but I'll still have a place in the MKT community. This isn't the end, it's a new beginning.

The only thing ending is boring new tracks and endless alt items. I am very happy with this announcement. Next februari they will raise the item bar to lvl9. Three more years of great gameplay guaranteed!

I think that you should not end making mario kart tour videos, but you should reduce the frequency of these videos for sure. That is because with these "repeated" tours you'll probably run out of interesting content (ranks, daily events...) easily and the other videos will be more boring and plain. Instead of having around 3 videos for each tour, having 2 or just one video per tour will be enough to keep mario kart tour on the channel!

Homie, the games dead. It's going to EOS. They aren't going to keep it alive and buff things, this is them saying the project is done. You'll get a few more tours of looped content than it'll close down It may be hard to grasp but such is the life of a gacha game.
