Probably the only great thing about this game is that Kobe Bryant did the motion capture for himself in this game. Try his dunks and turnaround fadeaway, it looks spot on.

Oh wow I didn’t actually know that! Guess I should have intuited since he did it for the N64 games but never turned up anything specifically about this for GC.

The fake like refelction and lightning on nba court floors always impressed me, even the 90's game have them.

Another fantastic episode, and was really digging the history behind this. I played this game a bit in one of my "GameCube Exclusives" episodes, and thought what was here was a solid basketball game for sure. It is a shame that Nintendo left this scene in some ways, as I found it a bold move when they tackled sports games. Excellent video again man!

High quality content as always. I'm looking forward to the NBA Street videos, considering that NBA Steet V3 on the GameCube is, without question, my favourite basketball game of all time. This one seems cool too.

I will probably bundle all three of those games together when it’s time to cover NBA Street V3. Which is a 2005 release so it’ll be a ways down the road. But this at least gives me some time to get into the Street series. Hopefully I can do it justice 🤞
