We loved your 5 parts of the Natchez Trace. Enjoyed all your explanations and meanings to this trip. It was very educational for us to listen to your videos. You did a much better job of this than we could of doing it by ourselves. So if we make it over to the Trace from Florida we will remember your tips.

What a great series. My Husband and I drove the northern portion of the Trace on our Harley a few years ago, We missed so much. We need to go back in the RV now that we are retired and will have no time restraints. Thank you for the inspiration!

A couple of points you left out about Meriwether Lewis: 1) Thomas Jefferson was no longer President; it was now James Madison who had no loyalty toward Lewis. 2) Lewis was traveling to Washington to defend his expenditures that Madison was refusing to pay for. 3) While it’s true that he suffered from bouts of depression, mercury poisoning and venereal disease might also have played a factor in his mental state. 4) I don’t believe that any official ever declared his death a homicide. As far as there being two shots fired, the first attempt could have been a “failed” one. It was certainly a sad chapter in American history. Thanks for the video series. I enjoyed it.

This series was really well done. I've only been on the northern most part of the Parkway when visiting my daughter in Nashville. We moved to Chattanooga and the Parkway is on my bucket list (after getting an RV). I love following you two and learning from you.

I just finished the Trace. The meriwether campground was nearly empty- 32 sites and I got there at 4 pm. I was number 8! And by 10 pm only two more campers came. Yes… bring and apply generously lots of bug spray!! Nice video. You did it justice. 😁

The tobacco barn is the same as my Aunt and Uncle have in Kentucky. Snakes, don't look in the trees.

Thanks for sharing this trip, we are planning to drive most of the Trace, if not all of it, this upcoming April. Watching your 5 videos were very helpful. We will be heading south, so we will start at MP 444 (or 442?)

I'm surprised how little ground clearance your RV seems to have. Can you increase that if conditions warrant?
