For anyone wondering about the "clicking room", it's because there's a doll that follows you on the ceiling. Sadly Markiplier never looks directly up, which would reveal it being there, but it's only a minor character and it cannot harm you. Just a creepy ceiling-crawling doll that likes to follow you :D Edit: Just checked the wiki and her name is "Clicky"! She also appears in another room, somewhere in the lab section but I don't recall Mark entering that one/her appearing in it. You would have heard her signature clicking otherwise; and this time she crawls under the floor grates instead of the ceiling.

Spooky's story is so tragic and sad. Her dad accidentally killed her when he was in his paranoia state, and framed it on a homeless guy. Her mom died shortly after. Her dad tried to bring her back, but only brought her spirit back and in a way where it started to corrupt her soul. She couldn't rest in peace until the seal was broken, but other innocent people died and got trapped with her while she waited to be free. I freakin love this game

@@dariboi7622 Well yes that is what happened. Except that dude was her father who suffered from PTSD (the demons are dressed as soldiers). You can see Spooky with a pumpkin basket, because that night was Halloween.

@@dariboi7622 that's what was originally thought given by reports of that day, but the flashback here shows what really happened through her dad's eyes. He was the one who had PTSD and shot her while in this state. He was battling fake demons before, which is made clear by the fact that they can't actually hurt you. If you don't shoot and they get to you, nothing happens. But when he sees spooky, he only saw a red being who he presumed was the devil of the demons. Since she was different then the others, he perceived her as real, and thought it was a real threat until he realized it was his daughter. He most likely helped his daughter to the hospital, telling staff that she scared a random old war-vet and he shot her, then planted the gun on a homeless man so he wouldn't go to jail so he could try to bring his daughter back to life.

getting the bad ending is easier, but you cannot get it after getting the good ending. You can only get the good ending after getting the bad ending. The reason why is because doing the Hellgate chase BEFORE doing the Nightmare sequence is what gives you the good ending. So to get the bad ending, all you have to do is skip the Hellgate chase and just release the doll spirit.

I think it was her father having PTSD flashbacks and shooting phantoms that he saw in a war. He accidentally shoots Spooky as she resembles one of the soldiers in the episode he’s having.

Also, I'm not sure how true the original telling of her death is (from a document earlier in the game) but it said she was also using a loud prop which was reported to have triggered the war vet (who was framed) but that part may still be true to some extent. Correction: The document said she set off fireworks, which she didn't actually do. That was part of the cover up story her father made.

Mark actually did the hellgate thing correctly. Rather than having to defeat all the spirits available, you get to select the one spirit that will chase you back to the hellgate. If he hadn't done that, he would have gotten the bad ending instead when he undid the seal.
