This is an interesting interview to pause at random moments and reflect on our own shortcomings

13:45 "People are like so misinformed on like so many issues right now, ya know?." -Todd Prodanovich Surfer Mag going down in flames with that last issue. Never mix politics with surfing, dude. If the editors/Surfer staff are this out of touch and feel the entitlement to virtue signal their subscribers with rudimentary gibberish, it is no wonder it went under. NO ONE likes a lecture or needs to be shamed into agreeing with your manipulated ideology. The last issue was desperately "WOKE" and a head scratcher . What a shame, It used to be an amazing magazine. (Note: I am not a Trump supporter, racist or homophobic.)

I prefer Trump over Biden, and, Republican over Democrat. And for heaven sake, for USA sake, the USA is a republic, not a literal democracy.

Crazy it's gone, but I'm glad they took a stand for the right reasons and went out like that, eventually the publication wasn't going to survive with the likes of stab in the digital scene and modern age of commercialism/comp-surf coverage (what surfer sort of emphasized more on in its heyday), or Surfers Journal making it worthwhile to still subscribe to physical media. Just wish there would've been more pageantry to say goodbye but that's asking for too much in these times. So I rather it go out in flames like this with one last message that's worthwhile instead of slowly fading away like so many other publications or magazines in all other subjects over the years
