Great video and great analysis, in europe we had also a very similar side to this malmo already, and they where very successfull in 2018/19, Ten Hags Ajax also played with very similar principles. We have also Real Madrid this season with Ancellotti with a more vertical relationist football and also some great "in between" postional and relationist examples of Postecoglus Spurs, Spallettis Napoli and Xabi Alonsos Lervekusen, who have the clear structure and positioning of positional play but combine the mobility and "field tilting" from the relationist approach. Very cool to see this different types of football emerging, i love positional play but i love this relationist ideas a lot too, players closer to each other, great combination play, its all i love, making me remember Sarris Napoli

Thank you for your comment, and I totally agree : there is not only one way to play football ! And thank you also for mentionning these different teams, since it's surely something I should have done in the video to explain that, for me, even if all these teams display in certain situations a greater mobility than the average in Europe, it's still as not extreme as Rydström's Malmö and their more pronounced proximity. But they now have a challenger in Motta's Bologna !

thank you for mentioning napoli sarri and spalletti, as a Napoli fan! now francesco calzona is trying to do the same, with his personal style ofc, hopefully would be as beautifull and effective as Sarri and Spalletti's ones
